1000 years

Good, bad, good

I stood there absolutely stunned. I look at Damon and he says nothing. "Imma go look for something to wet my whistle." Enzo says before storming off. This day started out so good, and just like that, Damon finds a way to ruin everything. "So Anna, how'd you and Enzo meet." Damon says, leaning back against his car. "Same way you did, oh and by the way, thanks for noticing my absents of 76 years." I say before beginning to walk away, but after I few steps I stop and turn around. "You too Stephan" I say Angerly, storming off to find Enzo.

After a little bit of searching I find Enzo at a diner. I walk past all the teenage kids to the bar portion. He still Hadn't noticed me, so I begin to Massage his shoulders. He turns around and gives me a weak smile before wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me in. "Why didn't you tell me about Damon" I say looking down at him confused. "Never came up." He says before standing up. He gaze goes from me to something behind me. I turn around to see Stephan and Elena walking into the diner and sitting down with a group of other students. He fits in perfectly. Stephan is a little over a year older than me, he was 17 when he got turned, I was only 16. I wish I could have a normal teenage life. I wish Enzo and I could've gone to school together, had a group of friends, and just had fun. Stephan is lucky to have that, even if it's just for a short amount of time. I could go play pretend with Stephan, but Enzo died at 27 and me 16. He would never fit in with these children the way I would. "Who's that" I hear a blonde girl whisper to her table. Stephan looked up and made eye contact with me. I give him a small wave and turn back to Enzo. "That's my sister" I hear Stephan say before getting up and walking over to me. Enzo puts both of his hands on either sides of my arm and rubs them, before standing up. "I'll be outside" he says giving Stephan a smile and walking away. I look down. "Sorry I didn't know you'd be here, I was just looking for Enzo." I say still looking down. "No no you're fine. I can't imagine what you two have went though, and I'm sorry. I should've came looking for you." Stephan says giving me a Sincere look. "I saw you looking over there, why don't you come join us." Stephan says giving me a small smile. "Okay, I have to go let Enzo know" I say smiling. I sprint out of the diner to Enzo. "Stephan invited me to hangout with his friends!" I say excited. Enzo looks at me and smiles Widely. "Have fun gorgeous, give me a call if you need a ride." He says, rubbing his thumb across my cheekbone. "Okay!" I say smiling, giving him a kiss on the cheek before running back inside.  I walk over to the table and take a seat next to Stephan. "This is my sister Anna, Elena you met her earlier." Stephan said introducing me.  "Hey, sorry if I seemed weird earlier." I said to Elena smiling. "Oh no you're fine." Elena said back to me smiling.
Blonde girl: "I'm Caroline, and this is Bonnie"
Bonnie: it's nice to meet you.
I got weird vibes from that Bonnie girl, and I could tell she felt off about me too. "Nice to meet you too." I said giving her a smile.
Caroline: "how old are you"
"16" I said stupidly without thinking.
Elena: "16!? I thought you were older than Stephan, how old is your boyfriend."
My mind went completely blank. "I- um" i shuddered. "He's 21, however he's a family friend. Our parents were actually the ones who set them up." Stephan says, covering for me. I just smiled and looked down at my phone checking for any messages.

The rest of the night was tons of fun. We all hung out, laughed, it was amazing. I felt like a normal teenager for once. Then I heard the diner doors open. I turned to see Damon. He waved and took a seat a few tables down. "Who's that hottie" Caroline says, smiling. "I should probably get going" I say smiling. I turn to leave then whisper under my breath "Meet me outside Damon" then walk out. A few minutes later the door opens and it's Damon. "What's up sissy" Damon says smiling. "Why won't you leave Stephan the hell alone" I say angerly. "You mad he didn't some looking for you when you were off at Augustine? Cause if that's the reason I could be ruining you for the same thing." I Snarl. "You know nothing Anna" Damon says taking a step closer towards me, causing me to stumble backwards. "I'm stronger Damon, you and I both know that, I'm a hybrid. I may not show it much but I could rip your throat clean out in minutes." I say, now stepping forward, pulling the same move Damon did.  Damon then grabs me by the neck of my shirt. "You think I'm scared of you." He says looking me dead in the eye. "If I we're you mate, I wouldn't be putting me hands on her." I hear Enzo say from behind me. Damon Releases me and I smile. Walking over to Enzo, who wraps his arm around me. Then without warning Enzo speeds over to Damon getting inches from his face. "You ever touch her again, and I'll kill you myself." Enzo says.

That's when someone cleared their throat behind us. I turn to see Stephan and Elena. I look at Elena and she has a horrified look on her face. I look down. Why can't I just have a normal happy life, I think to myself. I want to run home and cry. I look up at Enzo who still has the look of pure rage on his face. "Let's go home" I say to Enzo, before putting my head down and walking to his car. I get into the car before he's even budged. I open the car door and yell "I said let's go" and shut the door again. Enzo give Damon a disgusted look then joins me in the car. He looks over at me apologetically, before softly grabbing the neck of my shirt (which was ripped). "I'm sorry love" he says, looking at me with his puppy dog eyes. "It's okay babe, not your fault. I just wanna go home." I say with a sigh. Enzo pulled out of the parking lot and begins to drive home.

Enzo pulls into the driveway and before I know it has already opened my door for me. I smile and take his hand. He pulls me out of the car and picks me up, carrying me though the door bridal style. He continues to carry me until we reach our room. There he sets me down carefully into my feet. Then without warning he kisses me.

My heart begins the beat like crazy. He lifts me up and pins me against the wall. Then before I know it we're on the bed. I rip his shirt clean off, then he does the same to mine.... this is gonna be a good night.
