Chapter 1

I wrapped my wet hair with a towel as I stepped out from the bathroom. I just finished taking a shower so I walked to my closet to pick out what to wear today. I opened it and it revealed my hung and folded clothes, humalikipkip ako while I roamed my eyes deciding what to wear. Nilipat ko ang tingin ko sa bintana ng kwarto ko to see what's going to be the weather today para alam ko anong klaseng outfit susuotin ko.

"Its cloudy" I whispered to myself then went back to pick out my clothes.

I took my black spaghetti strap fitted dress that ends just a little higher above my knees. I removed my gold silk robe and changed. Pagkatapos, nag lakad ako papunta sa vanity table ko and pulled out my hair dryer sa drawer and then dried my hair. I put on some light make up to finish my look then I went back to my closet and took my long brown coat at sinabit sa aking kamay then I put on my black office heels. As I am going to grab my black bag ready to go, tinawagan ko muna si Rylie, bestfriend ko para sunduin ako dito sa apartment.

"Hey, you ready?" Sagot niya as she picked up the call in a few rings.

"Hey, yes kakatapos ko lang and paalis na" I informed as I walked out of the room

"Sure. Malapit nako, dito na ako sa kanto" she replied. I just said okay and dropped the call. I put back my phone sa bag ko and walked out of my room tapos nilapitan ko ang small table sa gilid ng living room and collected my notebook and some papers for my work today before I exited the apartment.

Pagkalabas ko I already saw Rylie's silver car waiting for me.

"Hey, sorry I have to cause inconvenience sayo. Hindi pa daw kasi na fix yung car ko eh, its been a week" I said pagkasakay ko sa shotgun seat and gave her a kiss on the cheek as a greeting.

"Its okay. Madadaanan naman kita kasi papunta na ako sa work" She smiled and started driving. She is wearing her corporate attire and tied her hair in a high ponytail.

"So diretso ka na ba sa building mo?" Rylie asked.

"No, ibaba mo nalang ako dun sa may café malapit, just gonna grab something to drink. Maglalakad nalang ako papunta sa building" I answered while putting on my brown coat

"Okay. Don't forget our dinner later, may magandang balita ako" Bakas sa tono ng pananalita niya na excited siya.

"Ano? Ikakasal ka na?" I teased. Excited lang ako na magka lovelife na siya agad, yung sure na sure. Puro lang kasi flings meron siya. So di na surprising ang balitang may lalaki na naman siya, asawa lang hinihintay kong marining sa kanya. She doesnt want boyfriends din.

"No! Ano ka ba! I'm still enjoying my single life so wag muna tayo dun" she smirked and chuckled. "Basta sasabihin ko sa'yo mamaya"

I let out a small laugh and nodded. After a couple of minutes, we arrived at the café. I collected my things bago ako bumaba sa sasakyan ni Rylie. I bid my goodbye and waved before she drove off.

I took my phone as I felt it vibrated. Sinagot ko ang tawag nung nakita ko ang caller ID.

"Hello, Risa. May dinaanan lang ako saglit papunta na din ako jan. May problema ba?" Sabi ko kaagad sa isa kong personnel.

"Wala naman po ma'am, gusto ko lang po ipa alam na tumawag yung client natin may gusto lang po siyang idagdag" She answered.

"Ahh sige, anjan na ako saglit lang- Ah!" I squealed, shocked as I bumped into someone. Paliko na kasi ako papuntang entrance ng shop tas biglang may paliko din sa direksyon ko and I didn't see it coming.

"Hello? Ma'am? Okay lang po kayo?" Risa asked worriedly as she heard my squeal.

"Risa, saglit lang, maya na tayo mag usap" I said and dropped the call.
