As General Luger was walking in the woods ,he increasingly became aware of a figure trudging behind him. Even though it was during the dead of the night he could see the crimson hue of a custom Airsoft surgeon 2013 ballistic gun in his peripheral vision.
He smirked at the novice efforts of the assassin that was lurking in the darkness .Over the past few months, the C.R.A(Criminal Research Agency) had been knocking their heads against a wall trying to take to take him under .But this man had dodged death at every turn. His first assassin ,who had masqueraded as a clingy bodyguard escorting him to the bathroom , met his untimely demise at the hands of a man wielding nothing but toilet paper.
Luger even had the audacity to send the assassin's contractor a selfie with him and the dead assassin in  it in mockery of the CRA's futile attempts. The only thing worse than the duckface in the photo, was the pathetic sight of their lead hitman with a mouthful of dirty toilet paper.
'You should know that  I can take you out before you can finish loading your gun!' proclaimed Luger. The assassin was dumbfounded , 'Who the heck is this guy?' He surely enough was popping bullets in his gun behind a tree. He decided that he would kill Luger in a more retro fashion. Being the rookie that he was he dropped his gun and accosted his target. Luger stopped to fully scrutinize the assassin. What he lacked in brains, he made up for it in size. Luger wasn't intimidated, he knew exactly where the man's solar plexus was, one hit and his assailant would go down.
The assassin was now seeing the full frame of Luger, despite being only forty-two he had a full head of white hair. He couldn't tell the expression on his face due to the darkness, but he could make out a face that was lived in and emanated brilliance. He'd heard his  British accent from earlier. The only other thing he could distinguish was a white goatee and some casual clothes. Suddenly Luger's knee jerked forward and the assassin felt a sharp pain directly above his stomach. Stygian darkness engulfed his vision and he fell to the leafy patch below. 'What a shame, I thought he would put up a fight, 'Luger thought as he stared down at the unconscious body.
'They still want you dead?' a voice said in the darkness. Luger looked up to see another man walking towards him. 'What took you so long?' said Luger. 'Sorry to keep you waiting, is it still happening?' the mysterious man asked. 'Yes, but I think we can stop it before it's too late' Luger said looking at the man. He still couldn't believe what he'd gotten himself into.
The mysterious man knew what was at stake. The fact that these two were meeting should have been impossible under normal circumstances. Then again, there was nothing normal about the circumstances, you couldn't tell straightaway. You'd probably think that they were twins or clones if you may. Heck, you'd even think they were from different universes, but no these two were the exact same person. Not even from different timelines .One of these two should not have existed.
They say that some things can't be hidden. The truth is one those things. But no human should have known this.If you knew ,you would understand why the truth should never be heard.
