"I like you." Dr. Kwon pulled back his shoulders before stating,it boldly.

His dad ever told him before, to be his best with a woman who he had to take care of.
He wanted to try dating Nurse Park, he was attached to her for a long time and he knew how she felt about him but he never got around to confess.

Her chest tightened as the words processed in her head. Memories of her previous experience stirred in the pit of her stomach. A tiny whirl pool making her feel unstable and anxious. Her toes tightened with anger, envy, shyness, and happiness.

She looked down at her the tip of her sneakers before gently rocking back and forth.

Her action made Dr. Kwon feel uneasy, as if someone just tore a piece of his clothing right off her chest. His confidence was gone in a split second.

"Why do you like me ?" She finally asked him after pausing for some time. "Out of all the people you have met in your life, why did you heart choose me ?"

Dr. Kwon was dumbfounded by the way she structured her question.

"Is there suppose to be an explanation for why do a person like another ?"

"I was hoping for your point of views about me." Her eyes wanted to turn glassy. "I need to become a better person, so I need to hear your feed back."

He studdied her gestures. She was going to crumble but he has never seen it.
Part of him wasn't ready to see her at her weak point. Part of him wanted to read her like a comic book.
One glance and that's all it took for him to see all sides of her.

"Why do you need to become better ?" His chin gently gestured her character. "I like you for who you are, if you change, I may not like it."

"I don't do things to please the other party, unless they are one of the most important people to me." Tears gathered near her lashes. "If you favour for me is temporary, then it's best of we continue being friends."

Her back turned towards him as she began to make her way back to the hospital.

"Who said my feelings for you are temporary ?"

She continued walking.

"You are a friend I can't afford to lose." She turned her body to him as finally her tear stained cheek showed. "You are not the problem, I am."

He wasn't exactly listening. His eyes focused on the redness of her eyes.

When she didn't hear his responds, she turned back away from him and finally walked away peacefully. Having her own heart aching, knowing she'll never be able to love without having the other lover's heart falling out of love first.
