Chapter 25: trying

this chapter are flashback from a couple of months ago kind of because in the last chapter we made a time skip of 6 months so yh these are all flashbacks

I took a pregnancy test...

Negative again..

I put my head in my hands

And cried my eyes out

Why? You may ask

Tom and i have been trying to have a baby for a while now

And everytime i thought i had symptoms

Negative...

Tom didn't know it and i never cried so hard

I then heard a knock on the door

"Love? Are you in there?"

I didn't anwser and just kept silent

"Open up love"

I didn't open the door and just sat there with my face in my hands

I then heard something being done by the door

It was tom...

He opened the lock with a knife

I looked up at him

He then saw my tears and my smudged mascara

He came running over to my and put his arms around me

"Shhh..shhh..tell me what happened"

I just kept silent and handed him the pregnancy test

"Negative..."

"I-i think i can't get pregnant tom.."

I sobbed in his arms

"Its okay love, we will work it out"

"We wont tom! We wont! I cant get pregnant.."

I then sobbed again

And tom and i didnt need to exchange any words we just hugged each other and tom kissed my forehead

Another flashback

Tom and i went to the doctors today

The doctor told us that i can't get children from the natural way

Tom and i looked at eachother

"Does that mean that i can never have children"

"No, it means you just cant have children the normal way"

"But how can we get children then"

Tom asked

"You can maybe do ivf"

"When can we do that?"

"Whenever you want"

"Well lets do it then"

Tom said while smiling at me

Another flashback

Tom and i started the ivf journey

Some eggs didnt survive it seemed like none of them were

I had a appointement

And it turned out they all died...

I cried my eyes out as tom was holding me

We decided to do the journey again but

None of then survived again..

Present

Tom and i were cooking in the kitchen when i suddenly felt really sick

I ran to the toilet and started vomiting

It didn't feel good

At all..

I decided to take another pregnancy test and i knew it was gonna be negative again

But would it hurt if i tried

I took the pregnancy test and started waiting

"Love are you alright?!"

I opened the door

"Yes!i just felt really sick"

Tom then saw the pregnancy test

"Do you think?"

" i dont know all the eggs died but you know-"

We then heard a beep from the test

(Its a modern one)

"Should we take a look love?"

"Yes..."

Tom grabbed the stick and looked

"And..."

"Love..."

"Yes?"

He handed me the stick and i couldnt believe what i sa2

I'M PREGNANT

I started crying and jumped in toms arms

"We are going to be parent love!"

Tom said

"YES! I cant believe it!"

I then looked at the stick again and it was true,i was pregnant!

"Im pregnant.."

I mumbled

And then tom and i kissed

This was magical..
