Just the beginning

"Osaze, I think they are coming" Heavenly cried out  of her sleep. Huh? What? Now? Oh My God, how are we going to.... "Osaze!!" Heavenly screamed before he could even complete his statement. " Now!! " Heavenly yelled, "My wife, I am here for you. We can't make it to the hospital now so we just have to do it ourselves" Osaze said. "I told you to get a house close to an hospital but you refu....ahhhhh" Heavenly cried In anguish.

"Errrrhmmm... Babe, I know you hate her but should I call  Nurse Chioma?" Osaze suggested. "Put me on the floor, get some old plastic sheets, blankets" Heavenly said. "Alright" Osaze quickly replied. Osaze put her on the floor after spreading the blanket and old plastic sheets and as soon as he went to get warm water, out came the first baby. "My God, what do I do", Osaze thought as he saw his first child come out.

He took his phone and called Nurse Chioma" Hello nurse, my wife's in labour. Please come right now, please, I beg of you" Osaze pleaded. As soon as he was done, the second baby came out.

"Nurse Chioma, we need you here" Osaze begged, "on my way" said Nurse Chioma. "Osaze! Osaze!" Heavenly yelled. "My wife, I am here." Osaze answered. "What do we do while she's on her way?" Heavenly just looked at the ceiling because she didn't have the strength to talk anymore.

"Hmmmm... Let's see, let's see" Osaze said to himself after wrapping the babies in a blanket while they were still attached to their mother. "How to remove placenta and clean up a woman who has just given birth" was what Osaze typed on his phone. He was trying to check you tube for tips on cleaning up a woman after delivery. He hadn't even cut the cord, he just stood there abated trying to see what he could get from the internet.

"This ain't even real" he yelled as he saw some crazy images. Then, luckily for him, his phone rang. "Babe, nurse Chioma is here" he said in happiness as he rushed down to open the door. "Where's she?" Nurse Chioma asked. "Right upstairs" Osaze cut in. "Good thing you live close by" Osaze said as Nurse Chioma went up, did her thing and cleaned the babies and their mother up. Heavenly became fine and Osaze was elated. "Thank you Jesus, this is over" Osaze said.

"Babe, whenever I tell you something, please listen" Heavenly said. "Yes baby, I will" Osaze answered. "We are complete now, our family is complete, look at our princesses or should I say twincess" Osaze said with joy. "Twincess you say? Is that even a word ?" Heavenly mocked. Nurse Chioma laughed. "Chioma, I am sorry for everything I have said or thought about you. You saved my life and my babies lives too, Thank you" Said Heavenly. "Hahan, forget that thing joor, na smallz, no biggie, no biggie at all" Nurse Chioma replied in Nigerian pidgin English. "Okay sis, thank you" Heavenly replied happily. "I am sorry too for how I have wronged you in anyway" Nurse Chioma said. "I love you sis" Heavenly answered. "This makes me happy. Baby truly changes everything" Osaze said. They all laughed as Nurse Chioma made it to the door. "Ohh, hope you still have some sanitaries, Heavenly?" Nurse Chioma asked on getting to the door. "I have a few here" Heavenly answered. Okay, good. "Make sure you get her enough absorbent sanitaries when day breaks" Nurse Chioma added "Ma! Yes, Ma!" Osaze playfully said. "I'll come do the needful tomorrow" Nurse Chioma said as she bade them Good bye. "Now what do we call our twincess?" Osaze asked . "I already thought of that, Diana and Dinah the daughters of Mr and Mrs Idemudia" Heavenly said in some kind of bold powerful tone. "Babe, they should also get traditional names, how about...." Osaze said and thought. "Eureka" Osaze exclaimed. "Tell me about it, babe" Heavenly said in so much anticipation.. "huhhhh, I just figured out name for the kids" Osaze said goofily. Heavenly just looked at him stupefied at what he just did. "Oya, wetin you come out with" Heavenly asked in Nigerian pidgin English, while she rolled her eye balls. "Omoruyi and Orobosa" Osaze said with a grin. "I think that's fine, babe" Heavenly replied with a smile that could light up the whole house.
