JJ's POV
It was a normal sunny day and were all sat fishing on the marsh like always, john b and I trying to catch some fish.Popes studying,no suprises,and kie is laughing at us for not being able to catch anything.Kie has the most contagious laugh so we all start laughing.

"hey guys,whats the time" kie asks

"uh,i dont know"

"shit,john b?"

"its about half five why?"john b asks

"shit im late"
kie mumbles to helself quickly burrowing through her bag to find her phones dying she starts  calling some one walking to the other end of the boat,i go over to get a boat mainly to get a beer from the cooler and eavesdrop a bit. i take a sip of my beer and listen.

"hey,sorry i think i'm gunna be a bit late,i shouldnt be that long only like say an hour,okay bye "

who was on the phone?why was she being so secretive?

kie walks back over to her spot and sits back down and asks jhon b if they can start to head back,he agrees.

"what was that all about kie?"i ask

"uh,urm,well i sort of have a date and i need to go home and shower and look well presenteble"
All three of us looked at her in shock mostly i dont know why but hearing that kie has a date made me feel angry or sad or both i dont know why it should it's not like I liked kie,right?

"A DATE!?" all three of us looked back at kie confused  who with and why she didnt tell us before.i pretty sure the guys probably felt the same thing that i did we're all really protective of her,I mean she's kie

"um yeah why'd yall say it llike that for"

"with who" pope questioned.im glad he said something so i didn't have to sound...jealous.wow I'm jealous that kie has a date classy jj.

"its just some guy i met at a party asked me to go out somewhere sometime and he seemed nice enough so i said sure,why is that a problem?

all the boys look at each other so I step in quickly for them.

"course not"
of course it is, i mean shes amazing and funny an ridiculously gorgeous how couldnt you not like her.
The silence her a bit awkward so again I rescue us.
"so...this guy got a name"

"kai"

"ugh... is he a kook"

"no,well i dont think so i dont realy knoww him to be honest"

"going on a date with someone you dont know sounds like the beginning of a horror movie kie"i said letting out a slight chuckle trying to hide the fact I think it's actually really dodgy going on a date with some random person you don't know but who am I to say anything it's kie she can handle her self total badass

"haha jj real funny"

"dont go falling in love with a kook kie "

"hey woah who said anyting about falling in love it is  literally just a date"

"im just sayiing were not gunna have a kook on our side alright"

"look,its a date when was the last time i was even with a guyliterally months ago okay and he was a total snooze fest so would yall just let me just go out get some free food and talk to a guy"
