After the chaos of Elsa's snow magic, things slowly crept into a somewhat normal state in Arendelle. Kristoff was a companion for Anna and Elsa grew closer to Olaf, as he was her creation. Anna and Kristoff had at once thought of being in a romantic relationship but decided against it. They were just friends and Kristoff was fine with that.
One day, though, Elsa received a letter from the Southern Isles. Obviously there was an apology, but it had asked Hans could be brought over to Elsa's palace to work as a servant, as somewhat of a punishment for his wrong doing. Elsa went and asked Anna if she would be comfortable with that. Anna was hesitant but eventually agreed as long as Hans was supervised and no where near her. Kristoff, however, had demanded that Hans should be watched 24/7. Elsa took this as him volunteering. After months of preparation, the time for Hans to arrive has come.
