I couldn't believe what I had done at the mall earlier.
I wasn't one to stare at people, but the fact that I did made me angry. At least, this particular guy did justice to the male folks.
I rummaged in my bag for my purse, all to no avail. I knew I had forgotten it at the mall, just because of a guy who had wonderful butt, dreamy eyes, and...
By Jove! What was I doing? Disgusted with myself, I took just my car keys so I wouldn't have to forget anything else in case I saw another creature that God made on one of His perfect days. I stalked to the front door and yanked it open. Only to find Mr. Tall-Tanned- Westmoreland on the other side.
I did a quick double take just to ensure that I was in my own house. I was. Before I could utter a word, he smiled.
I forgot all about my self-righteous indignation, and stared.
Oh, my God!! This was becoming a habit, and it had to stop.
"What are you doing here, did you lose your way?" I asked him.
"Contrary, I think I found it", he replied. And before I could ask him what he meant, he brought his hands from behind his back and showed me my purse.
"I've come to return this."
