1.parkour
Zombie apocalypse? RUN!!! An obstacle in front of you? Do parkour. Don't know how? Zombies go nom nom nom. Parkour is hard but useful. I can't even try it myself. Jumping around and stuff keeps you away from the zombies, though no time for fancy maneuvers. This way it's harder for them to zero in on you. Jumping around with all that extra energy really does good...unless you hit a lamppost.
P.S. don't know parkour? Go around the obstacle. Though I guess that would make this useless.
2.stuff
Just as mentioned on the chainsaw part in RULES FOR THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, DON'T bring things that are too heavy. Imagine having too cool stuff and just getting a nom on your head. Geez, I hate my life. If you need to throw out some useless stuff, (guns with no ammo, empty food cans, jammed mechanic objects, broken weapons, etc. ) don't bother. Just throw them at the zombies or use them for barricades or parts of traps or so. Excess things can slow you down, and you're trying to escape from the zombies.
3.location
As mentioned awhile ago, go to a place with not much population so that the zombies can't infect others easily. Also try a place with many obstacles like hills or mountains, maybe even abandoned cities, if not overrun with zombies. Try to find a source of water and food. I mean, you can't expect the zombies to be doing their usual jobs, could you? While escaping, try finding places to use as bases to rest before going out again. Bonus points if it keeps out all the annoying "Bra1nZZ" sounds. Make sure it is secure with all the stuff that you need, and maybe try to set up some temporary defenses, such as sharp, pointy sticks, improvised trip wires, traps, etc. Bonus points if the traps send up some sort of signal.
