In a flash, Hiccup appeared in front of a house decorated with wood from chimney to wall. The dragons hinted him that there were no humans present in it, gone into the forest and stayed hidden. The girl was still peacefully laid in his arms but with higher fever.  Looking at the girl with severe situation, Hiccup did not have the choice but slowly pushed the door open as there was no lock in it. With a creak, the door opened. He peered through the door and found himself in a cozy environment.

The room was finely made as well with some painted pictures fitted into the wall. The room was empty and woody but clean and filled with warm as if the owner was a poor civilian but with indescribably huge heart. Fire was sizzling and burning in the fireplace, releasing some smoke out of the chimneys. Under a huge light bulb, sofa and wooden chairs were furnished with pillows and blankets to make it comfy around the wooden, round table where a brown mat was spread and laid under it as Hiccup continued examining.

Few clothes were carefully stacked on the sofa meaning there should be at least one person living here. Few crumbs of bread and a glass of warm water was appeared in the view as well. He or she probably just left few seconds ago.... Ryder thought.

The girl in his arms started to shiver unconsciously again in his arms. "I better laid her beside the fire. " Hiccup thought as he walked towards the fireplace and laid her beside it. He caught a sight of small water bottle standing on the table and took it without hesitation. Swiftly, he ripped a bit of cloth from his clothes, rolled it, immersed it into the water, rolled it again to squeeze the water out and rested it on her forehead. The cold water had sent a chill from her head to toe which decreased her high temperature as soon Hiccup rested his hand on her forehead. He released a short breathe of sigh as he realized it.

He glanced up the window and saw a full moon hanging in the middle of the night, illuminated the forest with moonlight. He remembered that he used to fond in looking at the moon from the window in Berk too. Gazing at the light made him felt so peaceful and quiet. The moonlight brought him quietness but also accompanied with terror as the dragons invading Berk again afterwards. He shrugged his thoughts off his head as he shifted his gaze back to the girl. No matter how much he watched her, he still could not get a full view of image unless this girl took a bathe and cleaned herself first. Despite that, he still had the feeling he knew this girl but he would get his answer as soon. He promised himself that he would mend and cleaned her wound as soon he finished resting. He really did not have the energy to do magic anymore especially after flying for weeks. He took a yawn and was almost ready to sleep until he heard footsteps.

His ears perked as he took a glimpse outside the window, realized that the dragons were crouching behind the bushes, waiting for his signal. Hiccup lowered his hands as he slowly took his sword and walked towards the door. The footsteps were gaining as he reached the door, hiding himself behind the door with sword as his shield. He took a gulp as he letting himself calmed down a bit. He did not fear of whoever person gaining towards him but he really didn't have the mood to kill people right now. He was exhausted, hungry and thirsty. He did not have any energy to fuse with Toothless or sharpened his hearing and sights like dragon's.

With a creak, the door opened, a shorty figure appeared. That moment, it was as if the time stopped its motion as Hiccup slowly raised his sword above his head started to swing in his direction and landed a blow towards the figure until-

"Stop!!! Please, don't hurt me!" the figure shouted. Hiccup narrowed his gaze towards him, glaring daggers at him like a predator. His eyebrow raised as his head jerked a bit slowly approaching the figure. He examined the figure carefully and the view slowly appeared under the lights in the room as he went on.

It was a boy. Who was trying to protecting himself by Hiccup. Shaking and trembling in fear.

He was wearing a dark brown tunic with thick brown coat on it. His clothes was completed with a pair of leather boots on it. It was a simple design. His face is tanned with freckles and his hair was reddish blond. What surprised him the most was this boy had a pair of fiercely blaze, red eyes.
