jungkook's
time passed by and soon people were packing up their things and one by one they started heading outside the cafe. i let out a sigh of relief and let relaxation wash over me. "what a night."
"what you'd expect kid? it's always during nighttime where this place gets busy the most." namjoon hyung, who was simultaneously counting the money made for tonight and writing it down in a notebook, answered.
it has been a month since i started working here but i still can't get used to this kind of setting. either way i'm still enjoying it so i guess it's alright. i continued picking up the used mugs, plates, and more of those cutleries before dropping them in a big container. "say, joon hyung, why did you pick the night shift?" i asked out of nowhere before going back behind the counter to drop these in the sink.
he perked his head up at me then raised an eyebrow, "getting personal now aren't we?"
"oh come on hyung i've been here for a month. can i not get to know my co-worker better?" i said, annoyance evident in my tone.
"alright, chill. wipe that scowl off your face or else i'll throw you something." he stood up from his previous position and collected the money, packing it together in a plastic bag. "i'm not available during the mornings and afternoons so working at night is the best option. besides, i know the owner of this cafe. things went smoothly." he said nonchalantly that sounded more of like as-a-matter-of-fact. "anyways jungkook i'll be heading out first. i already did my part in cleaning here so don't reprimand me. i'm still older than you." namjoon hyung went back inside the storage room, probably to place the money in wherever he puts it.
"okay. be safe on your way home hyung." i answered as i started washing the dishes. good thing these aren't a lot, this probably won't take some time. i looked at my watch, checking the time and it was already half past 11pm. "ah shit i still have presentations to finish once i get home." i suddenly remembered then came with the thought of taehyung-ssi. "is he asleep already..." i said out of nowhere.
and the jimin dude already left an hour ago. i doubt i'll come across him once i get home. i wiped my hands dry off of the towel once i finished washing the dishes and headed to pack up my stuff before doing my last things to close up the cafe.

i don't really think it's a good idea to invite your friend to a place you don't own entirely. but that's exactly what i'm doing right now and it just shows how much of a thick face i am.
"ugh jimin let's just bring this talk over to my place instead. this is not even my UNIT!" i exasperated for the umpteenth time ever since jimin got here. i don't understand why is he not getting my damn point?!
"shut the fuck up taehyung. if you think i'm being an ass right now then look at yourself first. who's the one who came barging in a stranger's house and-"
"OKAY, OKAY I GET IT. why do you have to be so crude about it?"
