this is a true story toffee was real but jubilee and commander were fiction sally was me but I didnt really want to use my one name and molly is make belief i entered this story for the PONY magazine short story competition so i hope you like it :)

Sally loves horses,she dreams of being an equine vet for a couple of reasons, to care for her aunty Edel and uncle Gregory's horsesand in memory of Toffee.Toffee was the most gentle filly in the entire world. One day earlier this year (2012) Sally got a call from Edel saying that Toffee got caught in a wire and was now lame . Sally past no heat of it. Sally was always at edels house but Sally never saw Toffee because her paddock was down the road. Two weeks after Edels phonecall Sally slept over at Edels house. The next day Sally had to help her aunty clean Toffees leg .Sally was reduced to tears, it was a very sorrty sight. Toffee couldnt walk,her right hind leg was incredibly painful, all poor Toffee could do was hop,hop,hop and hop, itwas a cringingly painful sight. Despite her name she as a gorgeous grey but was a grey in a lot of pain , in two weeks the vet was over three times
