Chapter 26

(A/N: Hey guys, so the next couple of chapters are going to be focusing on Stefan, what's going through his mind and whatnot, obviously now, he and Addi aren't on great terms at all after what he has admitted to doing. What are you thoughts on this storyline? I know that some of you already had your suspicions on what he did and were desperate to be wrong, so what do you think? Do you see him differently now? Do you agree with Addison's anger towards him or do  you think she's overreacting? I'd love to know! And this is for me, one of those 'big' storylines in this, so it is going to last a few chapters, them both having to deal with this and see where they stand as a married couple, I just hope that I don't unintentionally drag it out too long that you guys start getting bored, it's tricky, but I think some of why that storyline will last a few chapters, is that there are other things that'll be going on too, with both Stefan and Addi, not so much centering on them, but also on other characters, Alice and Jacob, they have Ali's pregnancy to get through, and Finnick with the break-up from Eli, Eli with his girlfriend, and even a little storyline for Addi's Dad, Jamie.. so there is still plenty of stuff coming up! Stefan's POV

I arrive at work, looking at my finger with a missing ring. I can't believe she took our wedding rings off. I understand her anger, I really do, but we're still married. Or are we? What if this is her way of ending us? Oh, I don't know, my head is all over the place right now.

I look around and see only a few other cars in the car park, indicating that not many staff are in yet, I am quite early, earlier than usual, but with Addi being angry with me and pretty much kicking me out, there was nowhere else to go. I suppose I can go in and get something to eat, I haven't eaten anything yet, or had any coffee either.

With the change in the weather, now that we're leaving the summer and entering the autumn season, it is pouring with rain, it's rather funny how the weather has changed, earlier it was bright sun shine, now it's a gloomy day.

I grab my work bag and get out of the car, running into the school building. I don't wanna get too wet and risk catching a cold. I go inside and make my way to the staff room.

"Morning, you're earlier than usual" James greets as he sits with a drink and newspaper. So he likes reading the newspaper.

"Yeah, I guess I am" I say. "Anything interesting?" I question to change the subject from me. He gives me a confused look, so I gesture the paper as I make some coffee.

"Oh, no, not really, which is annoying, I hate when I get a newspaper that has very little 'news' in it" He says. "I remember when I read about you in the news, being arrested and very nearly jailed for having a relationship with your student" He says. I will never be able to stop talking about that.

"Yeah, it was a pretty big thing, but ended in our favour" I say.

"And after all this time, you two are still all for each other" He smiles. Yeah, well, 24 hours ago I would have completely agreed, and as much as I would love to right now, I'm not even sure she's still all for me.

"Yeah, we've done well" I say and take a sip of my drink. I go to the cupboard and find a couple of things I can snack on.

"Did you not eat before you came here?" James questions.

"Err, no, I'm not really that hungry, just trying to put something in me until break time" I say.

"Hey guys, morning! Stefan, what are you doing here so early?" Stan questions as he arrives.

"Just, getting an early start I guess, thought I could catch up with some work and leave Addi to get a peaceful morning" I say.

"Ok cool, how did dinner with your Dad go last night?" He asks as he makes himself a drink.
