Fears Strikes Back

We got back to the pension and waited for the two first years to get back. Before the thunder and lightning began I went to my room and put ear buds in to block out the thunder. I then went under my blanket hiding. I could still hear the thunder and I kept flinching hearing it. It was like this for awhile until I heard the door open. I felt someone move my blanket and get under it laying down. When I opened my eyes I saw it was Kaoru. When I heard the thunder again I clung to him as a reflex. I could barely hear him so I took an earbud out to hear him better. "I c-couldn't hear you. W-what did you say?" Kaoru smiled at me while grabbing my hand. "Tadashi senpai you're pretty awesome." I looked at him weirdly and heard the thunder again shutting my eyes on reflex. He held me waiting out the storm which was very relaxing for me. It felt nice being with Kaoru. God he's too good. He's getting me to like him even more. I don't think I'll be able to hold back as long as I want to.

Kaoru's POV oooo~
As I watched Tadashi he seemed to not be as tense as the last time I was here. But he seemed a little flustered. But he seemed to be better as I played music on my phone to block out the thunder. Senpai is usually fearless of anything and everything. But seeing him like this is kind of comforting. Even the most fearless people have something to be afraid of. I stroked his head and his hair was softer than I thought it would be. I never knew his hair would be this soft. He's way too awesome. It's making me like him more than I thought I would. If I hadn't went to his house to apologize I wouldn't have liked him. I'd still be into Haruhi with the other two dummies. Sure two years older than me and seems like a bad guy. But he's very protective of the people he cares about. He proved that when he stood up to his ex. His family is pretty awesome too. His mom is really caring and is kind of dorky. Everything about Tadashi senpai is truly amazing.

Tadashi's POV wowie
I woke up in the middle of the night to have Kaoru in my arms. The storm finally ended and I see a ginger haired boy in my arms. What. Do. I. Bloody. Do? This has never happened to me before. I stared at Kaoru taking in everything about him. He looked so peaceful while sleeping. I knew that this won't happen again. But I wish it would happen again. This is the most peaceful I've felt ever. Who knew having someone next to you while sleeping was comforting? No, maybe it was holding someone I care about that was comforting. I felt myself slowly falling back asleep while smiling. I woke up to see it was morning and to see Kaoru about to wake up as well. I pretended to still be asleep since I didn't want to move. That and I wanted to see what he would do. As I felt him stir he moved and became very tense. "W-what? How did this? When did this? Tadashi senpai we have to get up." I refused and moved closer to him. He began whispering to himself which I could hear. "He's going to give me a damn heart attack. I wonder if I could do it and just see?" Do what? I felt something on my lips and I opened my eyes in that moment. He became a blushing mess while I slightly blushed. He tried moving away but I grabbed him pulling him to my chest. "If you're going to kiss me while I sleep then I get to hold you. Or date you Kaoru."

I looked at him smirking to see him wide eyes and blushing. "Wait. Date me?" I realized what I said but I just nodded. "Yeah Kaoru, date you. Be together. Unless you don't want to then you're more welcome to leave." I let go of him just in case he wanted to bolt. He didn't move an inch for a solid minute. I wrapped my arms back around him smirking. "I'll take you out on a date then. Since you want to stay in bed and relax." "Yeah that should be fun." He fell back asleep while I stayed awake looking through emails on my phone. As I finished up I got up and changed out of my tank top into a button up shirt that was black. When I turned around I saw Kaoru waking up while I was rolling up the sleeves. "Hey, go to your room and change. Then get something to eat and we'll head out." "Head out? What?" "For our date. What else would I be talking about?" Kaoru blushed but got up and went to his room. I put on my glasses and grabbed my keys for my bike. I grabbed my wallet and headed down to grab something to eat to see Kaoru there already. I ordered my breakfast and saw the others there still. These lunatics won't leave Haruhi alone will they?

I hurried eating and I glanced at Kaoru occasionally waiting for him to finish. "Hey Kaoru, where were you last night? You didn't come back to our room." I managed to keep my face neutral while drinking my coffee glancing at Kaoru. "I fell asleep while talking to Tadashi senpai." The other hosts looked at me. I quirked an eyebrow at them slightly confused. "What? Did I do something wrong here?" "Kaoru was in your room the whole night! What did you do you shady man!?" "Tamaki I didn't do anything. Also, how am I shady when you're the one imagining Haruhi in a relationship with you even though you call yourself her daddy?" I cringed at the end of that way too hard. That could be pretty gross. Please god don't let me get a kink of his right. Once Kaoru finished eating I stood up twirling my keys in hand. "You ready to go Kaoru?" "Yeah!" "Where are you two going!?" "Out." "Out where?" "This place called away from all of you. Bye!" I left with Kaoru out of the pension.
