The Taboo

Two years ago i made a decision that would change my life, and could not be taken back. I gave up my soul.

Two years ago...

Akimoto : "Hey wake up wake up!" I screamed in my older brother Kai's ear

Kai : "What is it Akimoto" he barked.

Akimoto : "We have to go hunt for food in the forest before it gets dark"

We both knew that the bandits who sold kids lived in the forest and slept in the day and when it got dark the bandits raided the forest, they were like owls. But, the main reason why were even more scared of the forest is because it had strange beast that no one in the village knew about. Everyone in the village heard stories of people coming in this forest and never coming out alive. No one in our village was brave we lived in a very poor and cowardly village. Me and my brother Kai made promise that one day we'll leave this place together and live a fun adventurers life. We have never seen or mom nor or dad. All i know is that when i was only a baby kai was taking care of me. The village was very small everyone here knew each other. Our village was very popular for its gate. The village gates is what really saved or people from being attacked or destroyed nobody could come in or out and the gates were like 100 feet tall.

Kai : "What are you thinking about?" kai asked with a smirk on his face

Akimoto : "Nothing mind your business"

Kai : "Fine don't tell me stupiiddd"

Akimoto : "shut up stupid head" i yelled

Even though kai was the only family i had he always seemed to make me angry.

Kai : "That's not how you talk to your big brother" *punches Akimoto*

Akimoto " Your only three years older than me"

Kai " What was that disrespect" *punches akimoto again*

Akimoto : "Don't hit me" *start fighting*

*Fighting stops*

Kai : "Lets go Akimoto" *kai picked up his wooden stick*

*Akimoto rolled his eyes at Kai*

Kai : "Disrespect i see" *hits akimoto on the head with the stick*

Akimoto : "oww" i cried

Our house was right next to the forest. Sometimes i got scared and thought that the vandits would come to our house and kidnap us in our sleep. But kai always stayed up most of the night to watch over me. *Kai slowly opened door to the back of the house*

Kai : "Follow me" kai instructed as he lead us into the forest.

Kai : "What do you want to eat today Akimoto?"

Akimoto : "Fish, Fish!" I yelled

Kai "shhh Akimoto" *kai covered my mouth with his hand* "The bandits will hear us"

Akimoto : "sorry" I whispered

Howl!!

*i turned my head in multiple directions to see what it was*

Akimoto : "Kai what is that im scared" i cried

Kai : "Relax Akimoto its just a wolf" he laughed "Are you scared?"

Akimoto : "No im not stupid head"

Kai : "Disrespect i see" *hits Akimoto on the head with the stick*

Akimot : "Oww" i cried

The forest was really beautiful sometimes when the sun beamed to the trees and sparkled on the rocks.
