Chapter five
Bella's pov
I wake up to a room full of people. Edward , Esme, and the rest of their family which I've never met except Carlisle. They all look at me sadly. I ask what's wrong but no one will tell me. I look at Edward and ask again he looks really conflicted but he says " you are going to have to testify against your father." I shiver with the thought of seeing him again. Edward sees the panic in my eyes and rubs my back saying " you don't have to do this" but I say "yes I do to finally get some peace from that man he has to be in jail or I will worry that he's coming for me." Esme walks over and asks " how do you feel?" I say "better bit still sore." Carlisle walks in and says that I can go home today. I panic thinking there sending me to a foster home when Edward says with us. A huge smile breaks out on my face and Edward chuckles . They all look at me with joy I finally have a loving family again. A small teen walks over to me and says " hi I'm Alice" I smile at her she has short black hair and golden eyes just like the rest of them she reminds me of a fairy. The a tall blonde says "I'm Rosalie". There are two guys standing in the back one is HUGE!! He has short brown hair. He smiles and says "I'm Emmett" . The one next to him is a little mean looking bit he smiles and says "jasper" then he walks out I guess he doesn't like me. Alice hands me some clothes to put on because I'm still in the hospital gown. I walk in the bathroom and shut the door I sit the clothes on the counter. I slip off the gown and turn to grab my clothes but I catch a glimpse of my body in the mirror I gasp and burst out crying someone knocks on the door I run over and lock it I don't want anyone to see me like this. I turn back to the mirror my body is black, blue, and yellow. The cuts are stitched but still gruesome looking I will always have a scar. I can't stop crying I quickly put on the clothes and sink to the floor. Someone I think Esme is knocking on the door asking to come in I don't answer I hear wood splitting. I look up as the door hits the floor Edward rushes in and scoops me up into his arms I sob into his shirt while he tries to console me. I don't know how long we sat like that on the bathroom floor but I finally calmed down. Edward picks me up and I wrap my arms around his neck. We walked out of the hospital and to his car. Alice, Esme,and Rosalie join us we drive. I close my eyes for what seems like hours. Edward says " Bella were here" I look out the window to see the most beautiful house I've ever seen. I gaping at it which makes everyone laugh I blush but keep staring at it. We walk up the steps the living room is huge with glass walls and a huge tv which Emmett and Jasper are watching. How did they get home so fast? They smile at me so I wave. Alice runs down the stairs and beams at me while asking "do you want to go see your room?" I scream out "YES". We walk up stairs and enter the cutest room I've ever seen its pink and black. I have a huge window seat and a bed which I stare at. I look back at Esme, Alice, and Rosalie. I ask "is this really mine?". They say " yes " I smile at them and say "I've never had a bed before it's beautiful" there eyes widen in shock. I run my hands over the soft comforter. Alice walks behind me and asks " do you want to go see your closet?" I squeal as she open the closet door. I love clothes but never owned much but this closet is full. Me and Alice spent hours talking about outfits until Edward called me for dinner. I walked down the stairs and to the kitchen and there on the table is a pepperoni pizza I look at Esme and say "you remembered". I dig in and ate four slices I was so hungry. I finish and wash my plate off while ignoring the plea from Esme for her to do it my arms aren't broken just bruised. I go into the living room and sit on the couch next to emmet which makes him smile. They were watching a scary movie I walked in at the perfect time a lady was getting her head sawed off I burst out laughing scary movies are the funniest thing ever. Emmet and Jasper looked at me and cracked up. I fell asleep halfway through the movie. I felt cold hands lift me up and place me in my bed I drift off to sleep.
