Can I be your Captain? (Steve Rogers fanfic)

Chapter Two

I really do not understand why My so called GENIUS of a brother has to be like that. I swear, sometimes he upsets me. I don't see how Pepper puts up with him this much. But she treats me like she's my mother though. I had so many thoughts going through my head so I decided to just go up to my room and read a few comic books then go to bed.

The first book I picked up was all about Captain America. How he is the first avenger and how they fished the tesseract our of the sea when they went looking for him. I have to admit, it is probably my favorite comic book I have yet to read. Tony hates it when I read about the Avengers. He's says it tacky and unnecessary.. He's such an ass sometimes. "Jackie, can you please come here?" I hear pepper say from outside my door. She sounded kinda upset. I slowly walk to my door and open it, revealing a worried pepper standing infront of me.

"Is something wrong, pepper?" I said kids cocking my head to the side & raising and eyebrow. "Yeah, uh.. Bruce is angry. We need to get to S.H.I.E.L.D ad fast. Grab you a few stuff you need and want, and meet me at the jet. Tony will be waiting for you down the hall" she said kinda upset and quick like. After a few 15 minutes of rummaging through my stuff & getting my necessities, I grab my signature Thor duffle bag and I make my way to my bubby who is in his suit. As I get to him he grabs my hand and puts me on his back an takes off down the hall flying through the air and all the way to the top of the building to the Jet.

As we enter the back of the Jet I notice the Hulk running full force toward the jet. We then take off before he can get to is and head to S.H.I.E.L.D. When we get there, fury stood outside awaiting our arrival & escorting us to the inside of the building along with Cap who I didn't know was sitting with me in the back of the Jet. "Oh, hey Cap!"
I said patting his back and he looks down smiling at me. "M'am" as he lightly side hugs me. "Captain, hand away from my baby sister" stark says pushing his hand off of me and dragging me inside behind fury.

Cap just kinda stand there with that confused look like, 'what did I do?' Before he started walking behind us because hawkeye lead him inside along with Agent Romanof. "Okay Captain Roger's, Bruce turning into the huge green rage monster isn't the only reason we brought you here." Agent Romanof said looking directly at Cap. "Well, alright. Then what's the other reason. Do I have a mission?" Cap said sternly & ready for anything we wanted to throw at him. "Well kinda. Loki has stolen the Tesseract once again. We can't find him, but we think he's in Italy" hawkeye said pointing to the large screen revealing the dot who is suppose to be Loki on a huge electronic map.

"Actually. Correction. Agent Romanof, is it? He is not in Italy. That would be France." Stark said correcting her mistake & being, well. Tony Stark. While they looked at the screen & debated everything & how to Contact Thor, considering it is his Brother who struck again. I started to wonder off and look at things. It's so brainy and smart in here. Even though I'm the TONY STARK'S. Little sister, I didn't get the smart & amazing superhero part of the deal. I'm just. Me. Dumb, boring, I break everything, clumsy, & just a disgrace to the stark name.

Anyway, I snapped out of my thought when I heard someone calling my name. "Jackie, Ms. Stark?" I then realized who it was, it was a Agent Romanof. "Oh, sorry Agent Romanof, did you need me?" I questioned raising an eyebrow. "Uh yes, do you mind to kinda. Try something on for me?" She said kinda excited like & peppy. "Uhmmm, sure? But, what is it?" I questioned waiting for a answer. "Well, your brother created it. Incase we ever needed you. & since we don't have Thor. We need you" she said pressing a button on a remote. I noticed my brother lead me into the room & there stood a suit just like iron mans. But it was my size and the colors were Baby Blue & chrome with a touch of black. "Wait, so this is mine?" I said in shock. "I can't use this.. I'm not a mad genius like you are"

Tony looked at me & giggled. You don't have to be a mad genius to work this suit. It's voice command And however you move, she moves... Iron Woman" he said as he called the suit and it automatically fitted to me & then he put on his suit along with Cap & Hawkeye. "Alright, Jackie, you stay with Stark, he'll help you around, but trust me, you'll get the hand of the suit very quickly. It's actually quite simple. I tried it on.." Agent Romanof said giggling. "Alright, sis, cap and Hawkeye are in the jet, let's get to flying." Stark said grabbing my hand and flying. "Alright, now say, 'Jax Activate'" stark said persuading me what to do. "Okay, 'Jax, activate" I said, an as soon as I said it the suit came on & it started flying. "Alright, puts your hands down and fly up just like me." My brother said. As I did that I started coming up behind him and before I knew it, I was flying and knew a lot about the suit already. "So what do you think?" Stark said, looking at me. "I L.O.V.E. Love it!!" I said really excited and just feeling the adrenaline flowing through me.

Me and Tony were the first ones to make it to France, the maps inside out helmet on the tiny screen showed us where to go, and I didn't know I was that good at following maps, but for a while I was ahead of my brother even. We stopped and still couldn't find loki. "This is the location" Tony said confused as the front part out helmets came up so we can speak to each other. "I know, I followed it too. Could he be in disguise?" I suggested. "You know, Jackie. You may just be correct on this one" he said as his helmet shut quick along with mine an we both flew away.

We made our way through a huge crowd of people in the center of France. I didn't really know who I was looking for, I'm not usually a part of the Avengers. Especially when they do stuff like this. "Jackie!" I heard cap yell from behind us. I stopped in my tracks as I heard caps foot steps running behind me. "Jackie, this means war. I'm gonna hang on to your suit, fly me up to the top of that building, I think I spotted Loki at the top" cap said as he grabs onto my back and I take off to the top of the building. As we made it up there I see Iron Man and surprisingly Thor who decided to just show up.

"Thor, where the hell have you been?" Cap asked while attacking Loki with his shield, getting him off of iron man. "I was in Asgard as usual. That is my home us know, captain." Thor said slinging his hammer towards cap but I shot it away from him. "Ah and who is this?" Loki said walking towards me slowly & cocky like. "That's my sister. & no one for you to play with Loki." Tony said standing infront of me as if he was protecting me. Loki started acting strange & that's when I noticed cap was beside me blocking Loki away from me too. He had his hand back towards me as if he want gonna allow anyone to touch me.

Something about Steve has always gave me these butterflies. I mean, he's so protective & sweet towards me. He's such a gentleman. But lord knows my brother would never allow Steve to be close to me in that way. Even if it was my choice.

SORRY THIS CHAPTER WASNT THE BEST. PLUS IVE BEEN KINDA BUSY SO I HAVENT GOT TO UPDATE YET! BUT HERE YA GO, THERE WAS CHAPTER TWO! DO YOU THINK TONY WILL ALLOW STEVE & JACKIE TO BE TOGETHER? OR WILL STEVE JUST GET TORN FROM ANOTHER GIRL LIKE HE LOST PEGGY?
