Chapter 9

Chapter nine

I wake up in Edwards arms I feel bad that I made him stay with me but I feel safe with him. I sit up and look at him and say " sorry you had to stay in here" he smiles and says "I'll always be here for you bells." I can't help the blush that comes to my cheeks. Edward gently brushes my cheek with the back of his hand then he walks out . I get up and hop in the shower then I grab a pair of skinny jeans and a t-shirt. I put my hair up and race down the stairs. I put a pop tart in the toaster and grab a water from the fridge and sit at the table. Im almost done with my pop tart when Edward and Emmett walk into the kitchen. I ask if they want anything but they say no. I've noticed I have never seen them eat anything but I don't want to ask why.
I'll just store it in my head for later. Edward looks at me and says that Emmett, Jasper, Carlisle, and himself are going camping and that they will be back before the trial. I don't want Edward to leave so I ask if I could go but Edward says no that its to dangerous. Dangerous how is camping dangerous I just look into his eyes and say " no you just don't want me to go the weak little girl you had to save" then I walk out of the kitchen.

Edwards pov

"No you just don't want me to go the weak little girl you had to save" Bella says with so much hurt which breaks my dead cold heart. She thinks we don't want her to go but we're not going camping we're going hunting and she could get hurt. I think we should tell her soon before she starts to hate us. I'll talk to the family about this while she's at school then we'll fill in Esme and go from there.

I hear him call me but I put my headphones in and walked to the car. Esme comes out three minutes later and we head to pick up Milly. We pull up to Milly's house and she races to the car and jumps in. We talk a little bit but I mostly just listened to her. We sat in the front of the class again. We were in the middle of the lesson when I started to feel sick. So I walked to Esme's desk and asked to go to the bathroom. I went to the bathroom I felt so hot and like I was going to throw up but I couldn't. I stood in the bathroom for three minutes when I decided to walk outside to get some fresh air. I'm sitting on the bench out front when a car pulls up and I see Roger. I try to run put he grabs me and I fall to the ground. He covers my face with a cloth I hit him and try to scream when he punches me in the face. My nose cracks and blood gushes out. Roger grabs me by the hair and drags me to the car. He places a blindfold over my eyes and speeds off. I'm so scared he's going to kill me why is he doing this I never told anyone about him.

Esme's pov

Bella has been gone along time and I'm starting to worry. I asked the teacher next door to watch my class and went looking for Bella. I walked into the hallway and her scent hit me right away the stronger scent of the two led me outside. As soon as I open the front door I know something is wrong I can smell Bella's fear and blood. I call Edward and the rest of the family telling them to come to the school. I race back inside telling the principle that I had to leave because of a family emergency. When I walk back out the door everyone is already there. Edward look pissed as hell and scared I know of their connection. We all sniff the scent and try to find where it leads but it disappears they got into a car.

Edwards pov

GONE! MY BELLA IS GONE! I feel like murdering someone but I need to calm down and think so I can find her. I sniff the scent it seems familiar but I can't place it. I pace and pace then it clicks he was at her old hose the other day when we dropped Milly off and I've past the cabin where he lives in the woods. I just hope we're not to late I couldn't live with myself if something really bad happened to her she's my everything.

Bella's pov

We keep hitting huge bumps along the road which tells me that were off the main road. When we come to an abrupt stop he gets out of the car and comes to my door. He grabs me and drags me out of the car I can hear and feel twigs snapping telling me were in the forest. I feel wood when he tells me to step up I trip on the stairs and he growls. He yanks off my blind fold and pulls me into a cabin. He throws me into a bedroom with a little bathroom and locks the door. I hear him rummaging around and the door to the room opens . I turn to see Roger with a knife he locks the door and heads my way. I panic inside but don't show any emotion it only makes him happy to unnerve me. He walks over and runs the knife down my arm and asks " what did you tell them?" I quickly stutter "nothing." He drags the knife down my other arm and says " I know you said something you little bitch" why won't he believe me. I'm about to say something when I hear a loud crack and the door goes flying and Edward stands in the doorway. Roger grabs me and holds the knife to my throat. Edward snarls at him which causes him to shake but he still has a tight grip on me. The rest of the family rushes in and Edward lunges for Roger and in the process the knife Knicks my throat I fall to the ground and look up. Everyone's eyes are pitch black and Jasper snarls with fangs wait fangs why does he have fangs. The only one that seem to have some composure Is Carlisle. I can hear Roger scream and I turn to see Edward break his neck and turn towards me I flinch away. Carlisle makes everyone leave and he cleans my wounds he just finished stitching them when Edward walks in. He hugs me with such ferocity his arms are the last thing I feel before I black out.
