Chapter thirteen

Edwards pov

I have to hunt and release all the pent up anger from today. Bella doesn't know how much she means to me I would be nothing without her.
Alice's vision keeps popping into my head Bella in a beautiful white dress walking towards me. I love her but for right now all I can be is a loving brother and protector. It's hard to imagine all the shit she went through yet she is still so loving and trusting. A rich Hearty smell clears my mind of all thoughts a mile north of me a mountain lion stalking his prey. He never saw me coming I pounced on his back and sank my teeth into the fleshy spot on his neck. His blood is like a sweet nectar so delectable. I finish him off quickly but my thirst is not quenched. I scent five deer to my right and begin stalking them. The two smallest ones notice me right away but the large male has no clue. I pounce on his back making the the rest scatter. He struggles tirelessly to get free but he slowly weakens as I drain his blood. My thirst is finally quenched I race back to the house feeling antsy from being away from Bella this long. I listen to see if she's awake but she is sleeping peacefully. The door creaks as I enter but Bella doesn't stir. Her face is so peaceful finally she can sleep without fear. Her breathing is stable so she's not having a bad dream for the first time since she's been here. Her birthday is in two days and Alice has a surprise party planned I hope she likes it. I don't really know what eleven year old girls like but I'm getting her something. Watching her sleep takes the remaining tension from my body and I walk back to my study quietly shutting the door as I go.

Bella's pov

I wake to the sound of melodic music. I quickly jump out of bed and follow the soft music to Edwards study. I open the door and see him sitting behind the most magnificent piano. His eyes are closed and he looks so lost in the music. I start to blush he is so handsome his bronze brown hair and chiseled features have me frozen in place. His golden eyes make me melt and weak with the slightest glance someday when I'm older Edward will be mine. Some people say that this is only a school girl crush but in my heart no my soul I know we belong together. Your probably thinking this girl is crazy maybe I am all I know is what my heart feels for him. I gather my thoughts and walk over and sit beside Edward he doesn't open his eyes until he finished the song. He smiles down at me and says " this one is yours ". I'm confused until his fingers brush the keys and the most beautiful song plays. My eyes fill up with tears no one has ever done anything like this for me it's amazing. The melodic notes of my song slowly caress my mind and heart. Edward finishes the song and races me to the kitchen. Esme smiles when we burst through the door. I sit at the counter and Esme places a steaming plate of chocolate cinnamon pancakes in front of me. Mmmmmmm my favorite Esme always knows what to make. The plate is squeaky clean in five minutes. Alice twirls into the kitchen and asks if I want to go to the park today. YESSSSS I scream out and Edward chuckles. Back up the stairs I go to get dressed. Jeans and a t-shirt should be good enough right. "Bella were leaving in five minutes" Alice yells from down stairs. I lace up my converse and race down the stairs to the garage where Alice and Rosalie are waiting. Rose lets me sit in the front seat with Alice. I love to ride in Edwards car the comfortable leather and his scent permeates the car. Radioactive by Imagine Dragons blasts through the radio oooooohhhh this is my jam. I sing but quickly stop when I notice that Alice and Rosalie are staring at me. "WHAT" I ask them "Bella we didn't know you could sing." Sing what do they mean by sing I can't sing but before I can argue rose says " yeah Bella you sound so beautiful like a little angle. Well I guess I can sing I'll have to show Edward that I'm musical too. The park is in sight when the car stops I quickly jump out and spring for the swings their my favorite thing to do here. I've Benin swinging for ten minutes when a little boy comes over to me and says " hi my name is jake what's yours?" I shyly say " Bella my name is Bella." He asks if he can swing with me I nod and he hops on the swing next to me. We talk for an hour he's funny but a little annoying he live on the reservation and like pizza too. I jump when Alice's honey sweet voice says Bella it's time to go I say goodbye to Jake and walk hand in hand with rose and Alice back to the Volvo. Edward greets me at the door and asks me how was the park. I tell him all about my new friend Jake and how we swung on the swings. He has a weird look on his face but whatever I'm happy I made a new friend and my birthday is coming up I'm not expecting a party or anything daddy never celebrated my birthday. Esme made fried rice for dinner and we watched the lion king my favorite movie. The movie was over around 9:00 pm so I went and got ready for bed humming jar of hearts by Christina perri. Edward walked in as I exited the bathroom he said goodnight and left. Everyone else yelled from downstairs to have sweet dreams. I laid down and fell into dream land.
