Chapter 14

Hey y'all here's the new chapter WARNING Thera a few curse words if you don't like cursing sorry!!!

"Edward" I squeal as he chases me through the house with a water gun. Commando rolling behind the couch I shoot and hit him square in his chest leaving a huge water mark. I yell in victory but it was cut short when I'm surrounded be Edward, Jasper, and Emmett all pointing their guns in my direction. Uhhh their so unfair stupid vamp speed but if I'm going out I'm gonna take as many of them with me as I can. My battle cry shocks them giving me a second to shoot Jasper , and Emmett but it only takes them a few seconds to recover. Suddenly I'm drenched jets of water are hitting me from every direction. I don't know how long I stood there getting hit but I laughed when their guns ran out of water. Sweet sweet justice I still have a half full gun. Now they're the ones getting drenched. It's all fun and games until you get in trouble. I was chasing emmet and about to shoot him when my name was called I quickly whipped around to see Edward standing there. I raised my gun and shot but he ducked out of the way the water hitting Esme straight in the face CRAP!! I'm in trouble now. She's standing there water running down her face with the your in trouble look on you know the look you get when you do something wrong but I like to call it the mom glare. That glare can make demons return to hell and cause grown men to shiver and quake like a chihuahua. I open my mouth to explain when she suddenly smiles and pulls a water gun from behind her back and shoots hitting me dead center on my forehead . Sneaky very sneaky I'll give her that but I'm not going down without a fight. We ran around the house for another hour drenching each other until it was lunch time at least for the human. You would think it would be awkward to be the only one eating but surprisingly it's not. Esme had made this amazing Chicken Alfredo. The flavors exciting my taste buds. I eat two bowls to Esme's surprise because I usually don't eat much. After lunch I sit on the couch and read because everyone went hunting except Edward but he's in the library. I'm on the forth chapter when my phone buzzes jake has been texting me for a hour now wanting to know if I could come over. I told him I would after my birthday because I want to hang out with my family. He reluctantly agreed and hung up the phone. I open my book again when I hear a loud crash up stairs I don't know what happened but Edward is up there. As I race up the stairs I hear him yell don't worry I'm fine but I continue to the library anyway. When I open the door what I see shocks me a giant book shelf is laying on the ground and the books are strewn haphazardly around the library. I was about to pick up a pile of books when Edward told me to "get out ". To say I was shocked would be an understatement he has never told me to go away or to get out ever but he'll get his wish I'm not just going to leave the room but the house. Running to my room grabbing my phone, backpack, and hoodie. Quickly racing down the stairs and out the door. I run for about ten minutes before I stop and pull my phone out of my pocket. Jake picks up on the first ring I sob as I ask how to get to his house and if I could come over. He tells me to continue walking for half a mile and there is a corner store he will pick me up there. I ran all the way there I sat on the curb. It seemed like hours before he got here but in reality it was only five minutes. He ran over to me and engulfed me in his arms. I hugged him around his neck and sobbed into his shirt. He lifted me into his arms and started walking. He rubbed my back and tried to soothe me. Twenty minutes later we walked up to a red house surrounded by trees. Jake opened the door and laid me on the couch. I was so exhausted from running and crying my eyes started to feel heavy and I told jake thanks and drifted off to sleep.

Edward's pov
Uhh I should not feel so jealous of a kid but I do ever since she told me about Jake. Playing with her and my brothers made me feel whole like I belonged and that I'm not alone anymore. Bella is my light my sun I don't know what I would do if I lost her and that also applies to losing her to another guy. She's too young now but what's to say that she won't develop feelings in the future for him. I'm reaching for a book but in irritation I use too much strength and knock over the book shelf instead. The horrible crashing noise makes my ears hurt with my sensitive hearing it sounds really loud. I hear Bella get up downstairs I hope she doesn't come up here but to my disappointment I hear her quick steps up the stairs. I yell don't worry I'm fine but The door opens a few minutes later and a shocked Bella walks in. Books are everywhere she goes to pick up a pile but I yell " get out" she looks at me with a shocked expression and runs out of the room. Her heart is racing and her breath is quick as she races to her room I don't know what she grabbed but she then ran out the front door. Fuck what have I done. I just hurt the one person I vowed not to and the one person who awoke my cold dead heart SHIT. I hurriedly picked up the bookcase and put the books back on you would think it took me hours maybe minutes but it only took seconds with vamp speed. Why did I have to act no be a jealous asshole over a her being friends with a 10 year old kid all because I'm scared I my have just ruined my chances to be with her in the future. I fly down the stairs and out the door. She's not on the porch or the back patio maybe she went walking through the trails we have in the woods but as soon as I got to the trail I could tell she hadn't been here her scent is old too old for it to be from today. I hope she's okay and comes home soon.
