Chapter 9 - Life line?

As I was walking out of school, I heard someone running up behind me. I turned around to see who it was and it turned out ot be Niall, looking slightly flushed from running up the hill. 'Hey, are you walking into town?'  'Umm, yeh' I said slightly surprised. 'Cool, we can walk and talk!'  'Ok!' I said giving him a big smile, then I remembered the braces again, oh god, got to remember the braces, got to remember. 

We were walking up the highstreet when I saw James walk out of the shop, and start walking towards us. Oh no, this was calling for an awkward situation. But because I was with Niall, and he was talking about guitars or something, I decided to tune back in and carry on, acting totally cool throughout.  

'Oh alright mate' Niall asked James. 'Yeh I'm alright thanks, you??' He said, shyly  'Yeh, not too bad, just going into town and Georgia's accompanying me, ain't that right babe?' I just stood there and nodded my head, not looking up once. 'Umm, best be getting on then, see you tomorrow mate'  'Yeh, seeya. Bye...Georgia.' Yeh..umm..bye.'

'Wow that was awkward, I thought that you to were like tight, what happened? Come on, you can tell me? You know that don't you?'  'Yeh...umm..I don't really want to talk about it, its kind of...hard to talk about...but I do trust you, just I haven't told anyone, not even Teri, Charlie or Lauren!'  'Its that serious?'  'Yeh, unfortunately' 'Ok, talk no more. So what do you want to do in town? Go get a milkshake?'  'How did you guess?' I teased. 'We best hurry up, it looks like its gonna start raining!' 

So we rushed inside to the milkshake place and sat down after ordering. One Milka milkshake and one Dairy milk on their way. But what else was on the way?
