CH. 23 Mercenary

We were on our neighbors porch, and Brendon was about to knock on the door, but he came from his backyard and he was really drunk, and being obnoxious. “Hey there neighbor’s. What can I do for ya’ll?” He was practically screaming at us. Brendon was already pissed off, but this was pissing him off even more. “How about you stop screaming first of all Mike, and second of all why don’t you keep that fucking dog of yours out of our fucking yard. He was barking through the screen door, AGAIN.” Brendon said through  clenched teeth. 

“Oh, now come on mister rockstar. Zack ain’t doing no harm to nobody. I am positive it was that damn Bogart of yours who’s scaring the living shit out of Zack.” Mike had a drunken look on his face and almost fell on Brendon, but Brendon stepped back before Mike could even get near him. Mike ended up on the ground, and his face was a bit bloody. “Oh, now look at what ya did Urie. I’m all bloody because of you now!” He got up and looked like he was about to hit Brendon, but Brendon was the first to punch him.

“God dammit Urie! Why do you always have to have the first punch!" Brendon looked at Mike and said, "because I'm Brendon fucking Urie." With that he took my hand and we walked back to the house. 

"Can you believe that guy?" Brendon said looking into my eyes. "Honey, don't let that guy ruin today. After all we have something to celebrate, don’t we?” I said as I looked at Brendon with sex eyes. Suddenly he attacked my neck with his lips, and my eyes rolled into the back of my skull. I had been waiting for him to do this for a while and it finally happened.

3 HOURS LATER

BRENDON’S POINT OF VIEW

I was breathing heavily and so was Heather. I turned to look at her gorgeous face, but something seemed wrong. “Hey gorgeous, is everything okay?” She turned to me and sweetly said, “Yeah, but do you think that… well, are we rushing things?” I was struck with wonder and shock as those words escaped from her lips. “Do you think we are? I mean I don’t think we are since it’s going to be our two year anniversary on Saturday. It’s just 5 days away.” I said as I kissed her gently. “I don’t know Brendon. Sometimes I feel like everything is perfect. That what we’re doing is well deserved, but other times I feel like we should have done something different.” “I know what you mean doll, but in all honesty I think that if we were to have slowed things down we wouldn’t be where we are now.

FLASHBACK

“time to go on stage guys.” Zack said to us. We all made our way on stage and started off with Nicotine, but I almost missed the part where I came in because I saw the most beautiful woman that I have ever seen. I got closer to her singing to her, but she was oblivious until a girl next to her pointed out that I was singing to her. I grabbed her hand and stared deeply into her eyes, and I knew this was the girl that would fix my broken heart. After all it only took her about 5.2 seconds.
