After a few minutes we decided to get out of the water. The water in his hair was all over his face. His blue eyes were full of light like a universe. He was just perfect.
"Do U wanna come to my place?" He asked.
"I will love to." I said.
"C'mon, let's go!" Mike said.
Our bodies and clothes were wet and he just took my hand in his.
We passed through the woods and after a lot of time we saw a little cottage, not far away from the lake, it was in the middle of the woods, next to the lake. It all seemed like a dream, for now.
"Do U like it?" He asked.
"It all seems unreal to me. Everything is just perfect." I said even if anything was ok.
"I know but we just can't be together Faith." I could see a sparkle in his deep eyes, he was crying.
"Why Mike? We could make it work, together." I said.
"Faith, u don't know how I'm feeling. Every day is a nightmare for me and I don't want u to experience what it's happening to me. IDK u could date your friend Anthony, he's funny and..."
"Are u serious? I love u Mike and anyone will ever be like u. U changed my life for the better and I just can't find another boyfriend to let me feel like I'm nothing." I started crying. Did he actually want to break up with me?
"U're right, we're going to make it." Mike said.
"Do U want to come back to the lake?" Mike asked.
"Yeah, let's go!" I said.
After a few minutes we came back and we jumped into the lake right away.
We were just the two of us and I could Drown in his soul for the rest of my life. He wasn't an open book at the start but right now I can read him as the stars.
