Alrxandria's POV

I swing my tote bag over my shoulder and groan at the heavy weight, I quickly stick in my textbook, making it even more heavy. I push in my chair and quickly yell goodbye to the tutor. Traffic and an overwhelming amount of people welcome me as I exit the building.

It was my 3rd week studying abroad in Seoul, South Korea, and it was honestly not what I had expected. Of course, I also did it for all the wrong reasons. I had been introduced to kpop my junior year of high school, and that was the reason I was spending my sophomore year of college here. Although Im not obsessed with a lot of kpop bands, I did fall in love with the culture, and bts.

Two of my friends accompanied me on this journey, them being kpop fans themselves. Aubrey, a new txt fanatic, and Matilda, was a fan of everything kpop, especially monstax.

Swerving people on the sidewalk, and signaling for cars to wait, I eventually get to our dorm rooms. They were a few blocks away from our university, very modern and clean, and Aubrey and Matilda lived with me. My feet drag on the floor while walking up the stairs, it had been a very long day. Three classes in one day, and it wasn't even 3 yet.

I can already hear the music from our room, a pop song I didn't recognize, and I immediately get embarrassed. We were the only ones on the entire floor that made any noise, ever. I've never even seen the other people who live here.

"Party's over !" Matilda yells from the bed as soon as I walk in. I stick my tongue out at her and join Aubrey on her bed after I kick of my birks.

Matilda keeps on dancing on the bed, reciting a choreography to the song, her blonde hair flying everywhere. Me and Aubrey serve as her audience cheering her on and laughing.

"Ooh! Show her Aubrey!" She suddenly jumps off and rushes towards us.

Aubrey takes out her phone and begins to search for something.

"Show me what?" I was curious, even though there was a great chance it was just going to be a picture of something random they saw earlier in the day.

"Look!" She shoves her phone in front of my face.

Happy Hope Week! Singaa Cafe will be hosting a Hope Day!

A bts fan event. In the kpop community it was common for fans to host birthday events for members at cafes and boba shops. This one was a J-Hope event.

"It starts tonight, well at six, and it's only a few blocks from here!" Matilda claps, she loves fan events.

"No way!" I immediately pull out my own phone and search up the cafe and see that it is only four blocks.

"We're going right?!" I get up, feeling excited.

"Duh!" Aubrey yells." Fan events in Seoul must be incredible!"

"Look up the menu!"

...

"It has to be over here!" Aubreys long legs guide us through the busy streets. Somehow we can't seem to find the cafe, even though the directions keep pointing to the location that we have been to, twice.

Since Aubrey was the tallest she was walking in the front, me, being the shortest, in the middle, and Matilda in back of me. It felt like I was in New York, there was a restaurant opening and people crowded the streets.

"I think it's that one over there," I point to a cafe filled with twinkly lights and colorful balloons. "Yeah, that's definitely the place."

Aubrey quickly walks towards the small building, making Matilda and I slightly run.
