something I've learned
from being a Christian
is that God works in mysterious ways
He may speak to you through his Word one day
or through a family member another
but one big way that God speaks to me
is through music
like I already loved music before I actually knew what the words were
but once I knew
God began to speak to me
about my current specific situation
and it just hits different now
that's the thing about being intimate with God
it doesn't always have to be like spending an hour
in your Bible each day
(although I do love doing that)
it can be just the little things like
praying throughout the day or
listening to the radio
and just pouring out your heart to God
it's different for everyone
there's a verse in the Bible
that says, "abide in me and I will abide in you"
in other words
spend time with God and He will most definitely
spend time with you
because He loves you more than you'll ever know
