"What?! Are you serious?" I yell at my parents shocked at the bombshell they'd just dropped
"Calm down Cassie, it's only for four months and you are 19, it's about time you learnt some responsibility" my mum reasoned
"What? By leaving me alone on a farm with only my grandpa next door and no one around for miles? Great responsibility"
"Yeah well like you said, grampy is next door and we're getting Phil to come over every day whilst we're away so you don't have to do much except look after the dogs!"
"No! I don't want to be here on my own! Why can't I come with you? You know I've always wanted to go to New York!"
"It's not all about what you want"
"But Tom gets to go! That's so unfair!"
"Tom is the whole reason we're going! He's looking at the university"
"He's only fourteen for Christ sake"
"Watch your language! Tom has already been chosen for the university if he passes his GCSE's next year"
"Oh I get it, just because he's smart he gets to go to the place I've wanted to go to all my life"
"They're paying for us three to fly out tomorrow"
"You clearly don't care about how I feel... I'm going to my room" I huff storming out and up the stairs
