I was laying on my bed watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S when a thought crossed my mind. And without that thought I would never be here, telling this story.

[publication date: 25th may 2020]

I finnaly finished the coreography, it turned out alright, I wasn't completely satisfied with the result, but Ayia and Cho liked it so I had to upload it. I rush into my bedroom, take my laptop and upload it on my YouTube. I didn't expect it to blow up like that, and to be honest I was really happy about it, until Ayia said

"What now?"
"What do you mean what now?"
"Like I said, now you're famous, you have to do something about it..."
"No I really don't."
"Yeah you do, you're going to send the video to that competition"
"Hell no, I don't want fame, I did this strictly for fun and you made me upload it on YouTube!"
"Remeber when I forced you to send that cover? They loved it and you won a phone, you just need a little push believe me."
"No, I don't"
"Actually, you know what nevermind, I have to gocommon Cho"

"Ayia what are you doing? You said you will convince her no matter what."
"Chill, I have my own ways, if she doesn't want to send it, I will."

I slammed the door as Ayia and Cho were leaving, I hate when they
force me to do things I would usually never do, they say I need someone to push me when I clearly don't. However,  I'm seriously thinking of deleting the video, although I worked really hard, you know what, let's just keep it there for a bit.

After a few days of not talking to any of my friends I get a notification. I look closer to it and then realize, the traitors sent my dance video to the contest without my approval. I was screaming, thank you Gods for letting me live alone so my parents can't hear or see the shit I go through every single day. The only thing was left to do was accepting the prize, and of course that's what I did I am not stupid, but I made a really big mistake, I sent them the email with my approval before checking what was the prize really about.

"A trip to South Korea for a collab with a boy band."

How wonderful, I don't even listen to kpop. I didn't mention, I  live in Japan, I have korean parents that never text me or call me by the way, I know how to speak korean, but I never had the curiosity to listen to kpop. Pretty weird you'd say...

I have to leave in about two weeks so I have time to kill Ayia and Cho, pack my bags and listen to a bit of kpop so I don't look like a looser for not even knowing how their music sounds. And I must say, after a week of intense kpop listening, it's sounds really good.

And about Ayia and Cho, they apologized so it was alright, I didn't kill them afterall. Finnally it was the day before leaving to Korea and I was pretty scared to be honest. I spent the whole day crying and watching Erased on Netflix.

When the time came, I begged Ayia and Cho to accompany me to the airport, and as I was waving to them I started crying. God I really love them, but it's really their fault I'm leaving so I wipe away my tears and head to the gate.
