I wake next to Tobias. He is looking at me.
"Morning, sleeping beauty." He says.
"Morning." No one else is awake so we go and get breakfast. We walk to the caferteria and find my mother and father eating there.
"Good morning Natalie, Andrew." Tobias says.
"Are you looking forward to heading back into the city today?" My mother asks me.
"Yeah, definitely looking forward to actually having an apartment." I say.
"We're just getting some breakfast then we'll go and get dressed and probably head off." Tobias says. We grabs some muffins and walk back to the dorms. Once we finish our breakfast we get dressed. I throw on some black skinny jeans and a purple tank top. I put my bright red converse on. By now everyone else is up. Tobias and I go and say goodbye to my parents. They're staying here but everyone else is coming. We walk to the utes. I am driving one. Tobias is in the passengers seat. We drive and drive again but this time the drive seems shorter. We have decided to drive straight in to the city instead of stopping inside where the fence used to be. The dauntless compound is being used as apartment building so thats where we're all going to go. We arrive and I park the car. Tobias walks up to me before we go inside. He looks nervous.
"Tris? Do you wanna... Do you want to share apartment?" He asks and looks down.
"Of course I do!!" I say. His face lighs up and he picks me up and hugs me and spins me around. We walk inside and find a woman at the desk. She looks up.
"Hi, would you like to sign up for an apartment?" The woman asks.
"Yes." I say.
"Ok... Apartment 3B. Here are the keys. Have a nice day." We take the keys from her and walk to the elevator. Tobias clicks the button labeled 3. We walk hand in hand to our new apartment and take a look around. It's so big.
"It's amazing!" I say. Tobias walks over to me and kisses me. We stay that way for a long time until there is a knock on the door. I walk over and open it.
"Hey, Chris! Welcome to my humble abode." I say and gesture to the apartment.
"Hi, Tobias, what are you doing here?" Christina asks.
"Oh, you know, just visiting some stranger. I have no reason to be here. I mean, it's not like I know anyone who lives here." He says sarcasticly. "It's my apartment too."
"Oh, do you mind if I look around?" Christina asks.
"Sure. Tris, if you show Christina around I'll go get us all some lunch." Tobias says.
"Cool." He gives me a quick kiss on the cheek and heads put the door. I show Christina our apartment. Tobias comes back with three ham sandwiches. We sit down and eat.
"Where's Will?" I ask Christina.
"Oh, he's out getting a job. I'm not going to work." She says.
"Oh yeah, we need to get jobs, don't we?" I say to Tobias.
"Mmm, yeah. What do you want to do?" He asks.
"I was thinking maybe the tattoo parlour. I've always liked art, and it pays pretty well. What about you?" I ask.
"Now that you-know-who is gone, I wouldn't mind doing something to do with politics. I could work for my mother." He suggests. I nod.
"After lunch, we should go job hunting." I say.
"Ok." Once we finish our lunch, Christina leaves and Tobias and I get our coats and yet ready to leave too. I give him a quick kiss on the lips and head out the door. I walk down to the tattoo parlour. It hasn't moved. I find Tori there tattooing an elderly woman.
"Hey Tris! How's it going?" Tori asks.
"Really good. I moved in with Tobias. I need a job. Is there any room for some new staff?" I ask.
"I really could use some help. Consider yourself hired!" Tori says.
"Thank you!!"
"Start work on Thursday? Today's Monday." Tori suggests.
"Great! Thanks again! See ya!" I walk away and go back to our apartment. I find Tobias is alreadly there.
"Hey, babe. Did you get the job?" He asks.
"Yep! I start work on Thursday. How about you?" I ask.
"Security guard for my mother. Start on Thursday too." He says.
"Yay!!" I hug him.
"I have a suprise for you." He says.
"Oh, what is it?!" I say.
"It wouldn't be a suprise if I told you, know would it?"
"Aw! Come on!"
"You'll have to wait and see. Come on." He takes my hand and leads me out of the door. He gives me a blindfold to put on. I can tell he's taking me down stairs. Then he stops.
"Open your eyes! Or take of your blindfold." I take my blindfold off to see I'm in the chasm. There is a romantic picnic set up.
"Oh my god Tobias, you're so sweet!" I say before I hug him.
We talk and laugh and eat until around 1:00 am. When we get home, we go to bed.
"Our first night in our new apartment." Tobias says.
"Yeah, weird to think that it was only, like, a year ago when we first met."
I'm so tired I fall asleep within two minutes in Tobias's arms.
