Now for,    MY BLIND MARRIAGE

Brianna's POV

"Wake up miss, it's time to get ready", was the first thing I heard. And it was coming from our maid Helena.

I told her I was up and that she she should be back to check up on me in the next 30 minutes.

I grabbed my phone from my bedside table and checked the time. It read 6:50am and my alarm was supposed to go off at 7am.

I rubbed my temple as had a rough night. My best friends and I went clubbing last night as it was my last night as a single woman.

I groaned as I recalled the events of last night. I was very drunk. And I remember my two best friends calling after me as I walked out the club with a stranger. I couldn't remember anything after that but I woke up in my bed this morning so I as pretty sure nothing regrettable happened last night.

As I reached the bathroom, I remember what was going on today.

My wedding...

I got to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and had a long bath. I was going to miss having this every morning. After that, I walked over to my dressing table and brushed my long brown hair. It was going to be a long day..

Walking down the stairs, I noticed another family, having breakfast with mine. My husband's family. And of course my soon-to-be husband was nowhere to be seen because our parents wanted us to have a blind marriage. That meant we wouldn't see each other till the wedding party.

The worse part was that I didn't even know his features or personality.

I got to the dining table and greeted the two families. I took a seat next to my dad and watched as the maids served breakfast. The smell of freshly made garlic bread hit my nose and I sighed in satisfaction.

Just then did my soon-to-be husband's mum spoke.

"So Brianna, how are you doing with the preparations for the wedding."

I replied with a quick  "it's going good".

She kind of took the hint and backed off.  She tried starting another conversation but nobody looked like they were really interested. I finished my breakfast and asked if I could be excused.

And luckily, we were having an evening wedding so I had some hours to relax.

I picked up my phone and opened the group chat my best friends and I had. They might still be sleeping, but I didn't care.

You: Hi guys I need you to come over...   8:00am

Alexis: Yeah sure? Any prob? 8:05am

                                               Madyson: be there soon.  8:10am

You: thanks guys 8:11am.

I changed into some skinny jeans and a red crop top, grabbed my jean jacket and picked my phone and put it in my handbag. I planned on going out with my best friends.

About 15 minutes later, Alexis and Madyson arrived, and we got into my white Porsche and drove off.

After a few minutes of driving around, Alexis asked me where we were going and since I had nowhere in particular, I told her we would get some Starbucks and do some shopping. Being the daughter of the richest man had its perks. I had a golden credit card. My girls and I screamed happily as we drove off for some coffee.
