Prologue

=Attention all passengers the plane has landed please stay in your seats until we stop=
*sighs*
"Looks like we landed." I said looking out the window.
"Are we really gonna stay here?" I asked my grandmother.
She replied,"Yes."
I then followed up ,"Wh-
=Attention all passengers the plane is now safe for departure. This has been PR143 PH Airlines. Welcome to Manila Philipines! We hope you enjoy your visit.=
"Get your stuff and help me." My grandma said.
"Yeah yeah..." I said unexcitedly.
I picked up my stuff and helped my grandma with her bags.
I then asked,"What about school?"
She replied,"What about it? You finished elementary already. You're in high school now and this is where you're going to continue it."
*groans*
"Who's idea was this anyway?!" I asked as I follows my grandma to the migration section.
"Mine and your dad's" she replied.
I stayed quiet knowing I cant say anything else.
We got through the migration section and went to get our luggage.
"Go get a cart for the luggage." My grandma said as she went looking for the luggage.
I did what I was told but seemed unhappy.
"Damnit..." I said to myself.
"Moving away? I could have just stayed and go to high school there...
Screw it..whatever.."
I got a cart and went to my grandma.
"Help me with the luggage." She said.
I stayed silent but went and helped.
They got out of the terminal and got on a taxi.

"Saan po?" Tinanong ng driver.
"Cavite." My grandma said.
"What's he asking?" I asked cluelessly.
"He's asking where are we heading." She replied.
"You're going to need to know the language here. Shouldn't be that hard." She followed up.
"Tch..." I said as I looked out the window
"Anak niyo po?" Tinanong ng driver.
"No apo ko po" she awnsered happily.
I couldn't understand what the driver was saying...so I got my bag and took out my headset. I went ahead and played some music at the volume where I cant hear anything else except the music.
"This is gonna be a long trip..." I thought as I look out the window.

After a few hours we finally reached where we were going to. It was a nice village with big houses. My grandma pulled out my headset and said ,"Get your things..an dito na tayo."
I somehow understood what she was saying. She was telling me that we reached the house we are gonna stay in.
Atleast I could understand that...
I know some simple words in the language..just not..all of it...
I took my things and got out of the car then I helped the driver with the luggage.
"I hope you enjoy your stay here..Cavite is a nice place...many nice people and many places to go to.." Sinabi ng driver.
I was surprised that the driver knew how to speak english. So i thought i might return the favor and say thank you
"Sa-salamat po" I said nervously.
The driver smiled. He then took out all the luggage and closed the trunk of the taxi.
"Magkano po?" My Grandma asked.
"Ah. 700 na lang po, salamat." The driver said.
My grandma then handed him the money happily.
"Salamat." She said. She then turned to me and said.
"Kunin mo yung mga bags bring them inside."
I took the bags and said,"Which house?"
She then said while fixing her bag,"That one."
She points to a big pink two-story house.
I drop the bags in shock.
And said in an annoyed tone," a pink house...REALLY!?!?"
Eto yung simula ng bagong buhay ko.
New school. New life.
