Jessica POV

I stand in awe at the inside of the TARDIS. It's beautiful. I feel as if I am in another universe. There is a huge control panel in the center of the room with lots of levers and buttons. My first instinct is to reach out and touch one, but my good judgement gets the better of me.

I turn around and look at the door. A sudden realization dawns on me. I run out of the doors and into the living room.

I walk in a circle around the TARDIS and then run back inside.

"It's bigger on the inside! How is it bigger on the inside!? That's impossible!" I exclaim.

The Doctor chuckles, "I love it when people say that."

I sit down in one of the chairs surrounding the control panel and let out a long sigh. It's weird. I want to leave, and I know I should leave, but for some reason I stay right where I am as if I'm glued to the spot by my own curiosity. It's really weird though. Even though I'm in a strange place, it feels familiar somehow. As if I've been here in a dream or read about it in a book.

"So, where would you like to go?" he asks.

"We're going somewhere? In this?"

"Well, yeah, of course. What else did you think we were gonna use?"

"Um...I don't know, maybe some normal transportation like a car, a boat, or a plane," I say, "and what makes you think I'd want to travel with you, a so called 'mad man in a box'?"

He shrugs his shoulders, "You wouldn't be the first."

"OK, fine," I say crossing my arms over my chest, "but how will I get back home in time?"

"We're in a time machine."

"Oh, SURE," I say, "What's next?! Are you going to tell me that you're a flipping alien?!"

"Well actually-"

I let out an annoyed groan. Today is going to be a very long day.

"Anyways," he says in a sing-song voice, "let's get back to the original question," he pauses, "where would you like to go?"

"I...I don't know."

The TARDIS lurches forward, and I loose my balance. I grab onto the nearest railing.

"What's happening?!" I yell over the whirring of the TARDIS.

"You'll see!" he says excitedly.

The TARDIS lurches to a stop.

"Okayyyy...now what, space-man?" I say. He looks up from the console, and I see a flicker of emotion in his eyes that I can't quite identify.

"Open the door," he says as he leans against the console.

I walk over to the door and open it, half expecting to see my living room again.

I gasp. My jaw drops as I stare at the scene before me.

"Doctor..." I say, barely audible.

Doctor POV

"What?" I ask.

"This is amazing," she gasps as she stares at all of the planets and stars before her.

"I know," I say as I walk over towards her.

"How is this even possible?" she asks.

"I extended the oxygen field."

"Oh," she sighs. Then she sits down on the edge of the TARDIS and lets her feet dangle over the edge. A meteor floats by in the distance.
