"Akash ji you were with Arnav ji in office, right? Why didn't he came with you?" Khushi asked.
Raizadas, Jhas, Guptas, Jenny and Aman were chit chatting in the living room.
"He wasn't in office when I left Khushi.." Akash said.
Khushi nodded with small polite smile. She took her phone and went to a corner dialing Arnav's number.
After few rings, he picked up her call, "Arnav ji.. where are you? You said you'll come here when your meeting ends.. but it's 5 pm now.."
"An important work came up after the meeting.." he lied, "Call me when you're done.. I'll come to pick you up.."
"Won't you come to bid goodbye to Amma, Bauji and Jenny? They're leaving tomorrow early in morning.. You won't be able to meet them tomorrow.." Khushi asked.
"I'll meet with them when I come to pick you up, na?" he replied.
"But still.. at least come to have dinner with them.." Khushi insisted.
"Khushi I'm tired!" he replied sternly.
"Okay.. okay.. Take rest then!" Khushi hang up the call. She felt his tone was different now but shrugged it off thinking it to be his tiredness.
After having a family dinner and talking for few minutes. Raizadas decided to go back home.
Khushi and Payal hugged Shashi and Garima crying already.
"I'll miss you both so much Amma and Bauji.." Khushi said resting her head on Shashi's chest and shutting her eyes tightly, sobbing.
"We will miss you both too.." Shashi said caressing Khushi's hair.
"But we're always there for you both.. whenever you need us.. just call us and we will be here.. never will we forget our two dolls.." Garima said side hugging an equally emotional Payal.
"Enough.. we will end up crying again.." Buaji whined.
Everyone laughed with tears in their eyes.
"And yes.. don't trouble your new family.. and especially you Khushi.. stop being a child now.. and behave maturely.. don't trouble Arnav bitwa too much.. don't do any mischief!" Garima said twisting Khushi's ear.
"Aaah Amma!" Khushi hissed pouting, "I don't trouble anyone!"
"Haan.. She's saying right Aunty.. she's my lovely, cute and innocent sister in law.." Anjali giggled.
Garima smiled and withdrew her hand from Khushi's ear. Khushi pouted rubbing her ear.
"Payal take care of your little sister.." Shashi said.
Payal nodded her head, "Don't worry Bauji.. I'm always with her.."
Khushi smiled faintly.
"I'm here also.." Jenny rolled her eyes glaring at her friends.
Payal and Khushi rushed to her and hugged her tightly. Jenny hugged both crying, "Ahh.. why does it hurt too much to say Goodbye?"
Khushi kissed her hair sobbing, "Do come back soon Jenny.. I hope Aman ji brings you to Delhi so that I won't have to miss you so much.."
Jenny nodded shutting her eyes tightly. Aman's eyes moistened again, he threw his head back and breathed in and out trying to control his tears.
