"No, Gajeel!" Levy McGarden sprinted to block the attack charging towards the iron dragon slayer. Gajeel shoved her back and was immediately thrown back by a blast of light. "Gajeel!"

Levy awoke in a sweat stained bed. By her side were her comrades Jet and Droy.

"Levy!" they called in unison.
They wiped her face with a napkin and walked her to her couch.
"W-what are you guys doing here?" she asked.
"Well," Droy answered. "Mirajane asked us to go down to the general market to pick up some more strawberries, and on the way back, we heard a scream from your house."

"Plus!" Jet interrupted. "We were very worried so are you alright?"

"It's okay guys." she said " It was just a nightmare."

The boys nodded, waved goodbye, and left for the guild.

"Well, I should join them."

Levy picked out a new turquoise sleeveless dress with a small white bow on the left. She wore black tights that disappeared in her knee-high maroon boots. As the finishing touch, she placed a plaid headband and book earrings.

When she was ready she stepped outside where she met the person she least expected to see.

"G-Gajeel-kun. " She stammered.

Levy quickly slammed the door and slid down its side.

"Gajeel, why now?" she whispered.

"Why what?" he asked.

Oh no! She had forgotten that he has amazing hearing! Levy opened her door while sweating.

"Um, why n-not take me to the, uh, guild! Why not take me to the guild?" she stuttered.

He shrugged his shoulders and picked the solid script Mage up by the waist.

"What are you doing?" she screamed.

"Taking you to the guild."

The walk from Levy's house to the guild felt longer than usual.

The trip was silent and awkward to her since she was blushing and on the lookout for anyone she knew but Gajeel looked forward with pride the entire time.

After what seemed like hours, the two mages finally arrived at the Fairy Tail Guild.

"Hey Salamander! You up for a fight?" Gajeel called.

Before Natsu could answer, Gajeel pounced on him.

"Lu-chan!" Levy greeted.

Lucy waved and sat beside her.

" There they go again." They said in unison.

"Hey Levy, I heard there's a huge book sale at Larnes & Soble! all the best sellers are 20% off while the newcomers are half off! Oh! There's also a buy one get free deal for all books by Tsukasa Heesoni! Do you want to go?"

"Of course I do! I heard Heesoni finally published Lights and Stars! The story of Mage who falls in love with a ghost from his ancestors' village!"

The two girls squealed and ran outside of the guild. Lucy rummaged thoroughly her pockets.

"Oh dang it!' she cried. "I left my wallet at home, I'll be right back!"

And at that she took off. Levy sat beside the guild doors. She twirled her hair, whistled a tune, but Lucy was still nowhere to be found.

The guild had quoted down so she assumed that Natsu and Gajeel had stopped fighting.

"Hey Iron Face," It was Natsu. " How's Levy?"

The guild erupted with laughter.

"You're one to talk." Gajeel retorted. " I think Bunny Girl is drifting towards Gray everyday. "

"Maybe you should think about why Levy is always running to book stores with Lucy when you start a fight!"

Levy heard a chair slide against the wooden floors and Gajeel burst through the gates. He sniffed the air.

"Levy." He whispered.

Levy backed behind a tree.

"Weird." she thought. " He only calls me shrimp."
