Chapter 5

"Say goodbye to his mom!"my friend Paola screamed.

Me and Paola have been friends since the fourth grade. We used to get along so well, but everything changed once she got in a relationship with a boy called, Derek. She started being more vulgar and less respectful. But anyways I just let her do her thing. She's the one that's gonna end up getting hurt in the end. Her relationship with Derek was always on and off. It's like dude, what the fuck, make a fucking decision already. Either you're going to stay with him and have your heart broken or you're gonna break up with him and move on with your life. But she's still with him. Even though he goes to a different school now. So that's how it's going with her. Anyways back to the story.

While Jonathan's car left, Paola said,"Why didn't you say bye to him you stupid ass. You know his mom is not just gonna hop out of the fucking car and say hello to you. You gotta grow some balls and say hi to her."

I just stood there surprised at what she just said to me. Is this the Paola that I know? I don't think so. She would always be nice and not speak like this. I'll just text her later to settle things out. I saw her car coming. It was time for her to leave. She hopped on the car without saying good bye or anything. So I just started making my way to my house. I hate that I live like right in front of school. I'm just looking up at the sky, and ask, why God, just why? But anyways this is my last year at Endeavor, so thank God for that. I entered the house and arrived at the smell of tamales. So mouth-watering.

Tiara: Hey, you ok?
Paola: Yeah, why?
Tiara: Because you were pretty rude when Jonathan picked me up.
Paola: I'm just telling you the truth. You don't nothing about love!
Tiara: What are you talking about? Don't you know I'm in a relationship.
Paola: Yeah, I know but it seems like you're not putting any effort into your relationship.
Tiara: What do you mean I'm not putting any effort in my relationship? You know I'm in love with him.
Paola: Ugh, whatevers.

And that's how our conversation ended. I had no fucking idea of what she was talking about? Me, not putting any effort in my relationship? She does not know what she's talking about. She's getting played with that boyfriend of hers. She doesn't know what he's doing at that other school he's in. He might be cheating on her or something. It looks like she doesn't want to be my friend anymore. Fine, I don't need her. I got many other friends. I don't need to feel bad. But I just have a feeling that some bad stuff is about to go down.
