Lewis X Arthur Mystery Skulls Animated Ghost (boyxboy)

Chapter 1: The Mansion

(Arthur's POV)

I was looking forward to spending the day with Mystery, but no Vivi, as always, had to come to the two of us with a new place to go and investigate, which usually resulted in the three of us either fleeing for our lives because the person was a complete maniac, or capturing the person in the suit or in-hiding. Though this mystery was going to be different, it would bring back up a very, very sore topic.

Part 1: The Adventure Begins.

The three of us had set off to the mansion at about 5 A.M.  since the ride would be three hours long, and we might need some time to go eat, do a thorough check-over of the mansion before deciding what to do, and then find a place to spend the night/'s at while we stayed in the area. This is wasn't how it always went, though. We use to be able to do a whole investigation in just one day or night, but that was when Lewis was, well....alive. I shook my head, sighing to myself, and earning a worried glance from Mystery, by which I replied by smiling. Mystery huffed, returning to watching the landscape rush by. Vivi was listening to the Radio, probably to hear anything about the outside world for once, instead of all the ghost and paranormal stuff she always read and looked into. All of a sudden, the van started sputtering out, and they stopped right in front of the Mansion, 'huh, strangely convenient' I thought to myself as we all hopped out of the van and slowly approached the mansion and went inside. The door closed by us as if they were automatic. The lights quickly dimmed until we couldn't see anything, but then a purple light floated past us, and candles started lighting up the inside of the mansion. I noticed that some of the armor now had purple eyes, and the people in the paintings had the same color of eyes. Then three purple/pink ghost with orange, beating hearts that showed started...singing. Strange, I don't think ghosts sing when someone comes into their home. I looked over to Vivi, who was absolutely loving the scene. Two more ghosts joined the first three as they all started singing behind, and suddenly started to look like they would attack, which caused us to flee. As we ran from the singing ghost, a Knight suddenly swung it's sword, which we all jumped out of the way of. When we all sat up, I screamed, seeing Mystery's head was gone, but stopped when it popped out of his collar. Then the paintings started singing, turned aggressive like the ghosts, but we fell threw a trapped-door this time. As we free fell, three mirrors came up behind the three of us, I was too busy looking down to see when we would all die from impact, but I noticed Mysteries mirror crack, and Vivi for some reason..had black eyes in her mirror? Strange, suddenly I sped up and landed actually a bit more softly than I expected, right in front of a staircase that led to a coffin, which was opening up, to reveal a skeleton that was glaring at me. It looked over to the beating heart that the five ghosts had, put a hand over it, and quickly resumed glaring at me as it floated a few feet in front of me as it sang along with the song that was most likely playing all around the mansion "Fuck, it you I hate the most!" it sang, and that's when I realized, this was Lewis's favorite song. I shakily pointed to myself while heavily sweating, the skeleton now had it's eyes closed, but snapped them open, and the eyes now had purple pupils, and the room started lighting up. The skeleton pointed it's head to the right a bit, before flicking it's head to the left, and hair that was apparently flame appeared on it's head. I don't know when I got up, but I was freaking out now, because I remembered that hairstyle, I thought to myself 'SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT IT'S LEWIS! CRAP!' before running. Fuck, I was in big trouble....
