Nobody POV

There is unspoken set of rules that every person follows in order to survive this merciless wasteland and our little zombie has to learn them.

Rule one :do not approach anybody with out knowing if they are safe or not a zombie.

Rin had learned this the hard way by approaching somebody who didn't take a liking to him. He ended up with a couple of shot wounds to his shoulders, upper leg. Luckily for him Shima and Suguro managed to get him away from them before Rin could take a shot to the head. Miwa has then explained that he shouldn't approach anybody that he doesn't know. However, this happened about four more times before Rin took the hint and decided just to let his new human friends take care of interactions between other survivors.

Rule two: know how to use the weapon you have

Although Rin had trouble with moving his upper body and had only started to use his hands he was pretty good with the sword he had with him. Shima had told him basics of a sword and soon enough he was kicking ass with them. Suguro has tried to teach him how to use a gun but It was too complicated for him to handle. Eventually I lead to Rin knowing how to use other hand held weapons such as bats, crowbars, large knives, and anything that you could swing or had a blade on it. Although he has tries to use a chainsaw before and almost cut off his own arm, he hasn't picked up a chainsaw since.

Rule three: don't get bit or consume contaminate things that zombies have touched

Rin was always on top of this. When he found gloves he wore them all the time. He carried spare so that he couldn't infect his tiny group. He told his group to not put anything in their mouth that had blood, spit, organs or anything that had came off a zombie. Rin had made it his top priority to keep his group clean and made sure they didn't get contaminated and his new friends called him a clean freak because he made sure to keep everything clean if he suspected that there was some sort of bodily fluid from a zombie. He was careful and didn't want to risk infection.

Rule three: carry what you need

His tiny group had gone through what he was carrying. They asked him why he didn't have any food with him as they had a vague idea that zombies did eat to survive. He told them he could find food at the moment of time. His bag had a large amount of space so the decided that since Rin was going to be apart of their group that he should help carry supplies. Rin was In charge of carrying medical supplies and some food if they ran out of space.
His bag was cleaned to make sure that they could be used and that it was safe to place items in.

Rule four: be aware of your surrounding

Although Rin was terrible at basic survival he was amazing for two things. One being knowing how to keep his friends from being infected and two being knowing his surroundings. The two things that his group were not so great at. He saved them on multiple occasions from being eaten by zombies of running in to unnecessary trouble with other survivors. He could tell were hordes were before they were in the area from smell and how to stay clear of them.

These took Rin a few weeks to finally understand. He's been out of the city for about three weeks with Shima, Suguro, Miwa and his little companion Kuro for company. They were currently hiding out in a small house in the middle of nowhere waiting for the morning to come. His living friends were sleeping while he stayed asleep. Durning his time with his human group he had learned a quite a bit. His speech is better than before and the the remains of the human's lost society seemed to bring back random memories.

He remembers a little bit more of his old life. Day by day he remembers pieces of his old life which he knew he wouldn't have back. He decided that he would make a new life with Yukio, where they would survive the apocalypse together. Although he didn't know how he would react to seeing his dead brother walking around, he only hoped that he wouldn't shoot him in the head or that his tiny human group would help him.

He had a long way to go before he could find him but until then he had to worry about not losing his head.
