Love at the Jersey Shore

Chapter 1

Today was the day. I'm finally going to live my summer at the Jersey shore for the first time. I was excited but at th same time I was nervous since I didn't

really know what to expect. I'll be living with 9 complete strangers. That wasn't the only thing I was nervous about. I happen to be in a relationship. My boyfriend, Roger, wasn't thrilled about me going off to New Jersey to go out and party and hang out with people I Dont even know. He was sure there will be male roommates and he was worried I'd hurt him. I want him to realize that even if I go out to clubs, I would never hurt him. I wish my boyfriend would trust me. I honestly think me going to Jersey would be a good test for me to prove that I am a good girlfriend. Since Roger is stubborn as hell, it's going to need a lot of work.

"Is all your stuff packed babe?" Roger asked

"Yeah just help me put them in the trunk please." I replied.

Roger comes to my room and takes on suitcase as I took the other.

"Damn Jenny, do you really need all this for two months?"

"I'm a lady what do you expect?" I said giggling.

We got to the driveway and set down the luggage. Roger put both the suitcases in the trunk. He then looked at with a concerned face.

"I really dont want you to go babe. You know how I feel about you going to clubs without me. And this is different. You'll be in a whole other city."

"I know how you feel about me leaving to Jersey. But I think it'll be a fun experience. And it's only for two months Roger. No big deal."

"Wow no big deal? Aren't you aware that about half your roommates will be dudes?"

"Yeah I'm totally aware but you need to trust me. Guys and girls can be friends too you know. Just please trust me."

"I'll try my best. Just don't do anything stupid." Roger replied.

I give him a soft peck on the lips. "I won't. You know I don't even drink. I'll probably be the mom in the house."

I give him a big hug and kiss good bye and I soon drive off on my way to the Jersey shore.

This was the longest drive I've ever been on. My head was hurting, I had to keep my eyes out for everything around, I kept the radio on, and I had about three cups of coffee. This trip was about 6 hours and it felt like 60. I soon arrive to Jersey and it looked completely different compared to my hometown. There were so many people walking around and the surroundings were nice.

I was about 30 minutes away from Seaside Heights and I was getting eager. Throughout the trip all I could think about was Roger. I was already missing him and at the same time I was worried about him. But I have a feeling this vacation will help our relationship since it's on a thread right now. I couldn't trust him since I've been hearing from my friends that he's been hanging out with random girls at clubs and even at work. I haven't broken up with him because I still have hope it'll work and maybe if I put in effort to show that I care, he'll step it up and be the amazing guy I fell for. I'm not exactly in love with Roger but there's strong feelings there.

I finally arrive to Seaside Heights. The city was amazing and small. I have a good sight of the beach. I can see the boardwalk and the lovely rides around it. It was everything I expected it to be.

I soon arrive to the shore house where I'll be staying at for the next two months. There were no cars parked on the driveway so I assume I'm the first one to arrive. I take out my suitcases out of my car. I get up the stairs and open the door. The inside wasn't exactly what I'd hope for but it can work. It was a bit small and the furniture didn't even match. I check out the rooms and they were small as hell. The bedsheets and the decorations weren't all too bad so I was able to manage. I decided not to pick out a room until all the roommates arrive.

I wait in the kitchen since I love to eat. I made myself a sandwich and chilled. I soon see the doorknob turn and I see a tall brunette come in. She looked like a model already I was jealous. Being the nice girl that I am, I introduce myself.

"Hi, Im Jenny! Whats your name?" I asked.

"Hey I'm Eleanor! It's nice to meet you!" She replied.

"Nice to meet you too. I love your outfit by the way."

"Oh thank you. Is there anyone else here?" She asked.

"Nope its just me. I've been here for the passed half hour really bored." I said laughing.

"Oh haha. That's not fun. Lucky for you I'm not boring. Where are you from?" She asked.

"Oh thank god, I would've died. And Im from Rhode Island. What about you?"

"I'm originally from Manchester in the UK but later on I moved to New York."

"I somehow knew you were british by your accent." I chuckled.

"Hahaha yeah my accent clearly points it out. When do you think everyone will be here?"

"I hope very soon because I'm getting eager. I just want to have a good time already!!" I exclaimed.

"oh me too! I just want to get drunk already."

"Woah calm down girl! Don't get too crazy now!" I giggled.

About 10 minutes later, Three guys came into the house. They were unbelievably good looking. I tried my best not to check them out considering I have a boyfriend back at home. There were two brown haired boys and one blonde. One of them was tall and have gorgeous dark brown eyes and judging by how tight his shirt was, I assumed he had a nice body. The next one had incredibly gorgeous green eyes and a never ending torso. The last boy had lovely ocean blue eyes that anyone can stare at for days and I loved how he was dressed. As hard as it was to not look a these boys, I couldn't resist.

"Hello ladies, Im Liam." "Im Harry." "Im Niall. Nice to meet you girls."

"Hiii my names Eleanor its nice to meet you all!" She said with a smile.

"Hey I'm Jenny." I said shyly but with a decent smile.

Judging by their accents, I can tell their from the UK as well. I had absolutely no problem with that.

"Where are you guys from?" eleanor asked.

"Well I'm from the UK" Harry replied.

"Im from the UK as well but a couple years ago I moved to Florida." Liam later replied.

"Im from Ireland and later I moved to California." Niall said.

"Oh how awesome! did you all fly over here?" Eleanor asked.

"I did. There was no way in hell I'd drive for more than a day from California to Jersey!" Niall said with a cute laugh.

"It was tough but I drove here." Liam replied.

"I dont think you can drive from the UK to Jersey so I decided to come here by plane." Harry said.

So far my roommates seemed really nice and fun to be around. We were getting to know each other and enjoying each other's time while we wait for the other roommates to arrive. I'm hoping these people will like me and get my mind off my problems back at home.
