Elizabeth

"Michael? Are you ready? Damn it!" I said. "Oh, good, you are. Alright, we'll meet you at the church."

I looked one final time in the mirror. I had on a purple cotton dress with a high neck. The bottom was flowy, and it stopped above my knees. The hairdresser had swooped my hair into a bun with a braid running into it. My brown eye shadow and red lipstick complimented each other nicely, and my necklace from Niall sparkled, contrasting my black heels.

I grabbed my trench coat and my purse and got in my car. I picked up Niall, and he looked brilliant in his black tuxedo and bowtie. We made our way to St. Mary's Church. Jamie, my cousin, was getting married.

We blew bubbles at them as they made their way to the limo, and then we got in our own car and drove to Sammy's a catering place at a downtown mall, for the reception.

Niall came around and opened the door for me. We walked up the steps. We handed our coats over to the coat check. Niall stuck his arm out for me, and I happily took it. I smiled as he led me to our table with a few of my cousins.

We sat down, and listened to the long speeches an put up with the half-ass made dinner, but then it was time to chat and party, which was always the best part of weddings anyway.

Niall ordered the best beer on the menu, which was not even satisfactory in our eyes. England and Ireland ruins America's beer when you come right down to it.

I took a sip of his. "Ew!" I exclaimed.

"I know. Might have to go get a scotch instead." Niall told me.

"God, that's terrible!" I washed it down with my water.

"Your crazy college parties had better?" Meredith, my favorite cousin, asked.

"No. England and Ireland had better. This beer is shit." Remy and Philip, her boyfriend, laughed. They had both gone to Ireland last summer.

"So how's London, Elizabeth?" asked Philip. He was a sweet guy, and had been dating Remy for four years.

"Oh my god! It's absolutely wonderful! I've met a ton of people, and the shopping is great and, uh, it's just incredible. I love it!"

Niall told me he would be back, and I nodded. I tapped my feet on the ground, and waited for him to come back. i finally heard the beat of The Way You Look Tonight come from the speakers, and there was a tap on my shoulders.

I turned, and there was Niall, with his hand extended. "Dance with me?" I lightly placed my hand in his and he led me to the dancefloor.

He grabbed me close to him and took one of my hands in his. I smiled as we swayed back and forth across the floor.

Remy

I watched Elizabeth and Niall, laughing an dancing. It was crazy to think that Libby, that little girl who used to awkwardly smile, had completely come out of her shell, and was giggling and dancing with a guy whom she seemed to be completely in love with.

"What do you think of him?"

"Of Philip?" I rolled my eyes as Meredith at mentioning my boyfriend. "Yea I guess you could keep him."

"No, Lib and Niall."

"Oh, they're disgustingly adorable. She's happy and giggly as fuck, he's great with great with the family, and we all love him, and I seriously could never see her with anyone else."

"I think he's nice, and she really likes him."

"Yea, but he's away, like, all the time. They live in different countries."

"She can handle it." I told her. I saw as Libby threw her head back in laughter as the lines came from the speakers, "Lovely, never, ever change, keep that breathless charm." She looked carefree and gorgeous and beautiful.

In that moment, I saw Elizabeth, not the one I had seen the last eighteen years, but the real one. She was happy and always laughing and in love. And Niall would ever be responsible. They were unquestioningly perfect for each other.

Niall

"Here, put your jacket on." I said to Lib, putting her jacket on for her. She picked up her purse, and put her hand in the crook of my arm. The way she snuggled up to me as we made our way outside was the cutest thing.

We walked outside, along with a few of her cousins. Her parents and brother had left a while ago. We were outside on the brick ground and she stopped and turned to me. "Button up your coat!" She buttoned my jacket. "It's freezing!"

"Lib! Not now!"

"Yes, now, or you'll get sick. You're going on tour, we can't have that! Paul would kill me if I sent you to work sick next week!"

"Yea, button up, or you'll be sick, Niall!" Neil, a cousin said.

'Hey shut your fuckin' mouth!" I shouted back with a laugh. "If you knew what was good for you, you'd listen too, bud!" Everyone laughed.

"Don't worry, he knows what to do and when to do it with me."

"That's what she said." Colin blurted out.

"Colin! I hate you!" Elizabeth said, playfully slapping Colin.

"Straighten your collar!" Lib shouted again, and I obliged. I gave her a kiss. "Love you."

"Love you, too." She smiled, grabbing my hand. "Come on, then." She said, and we took the long, winding path to the car.

"My family loves you, I cant tell."

"Well, I love your family."

"Good, because family is important to me."

"Same here, love." I kissed the top of her head. She broke away from me and swung around a light pole.

"Weeeeeeeee!" She said delightfully. I stopped her, an leaned her against the pole. She looked up ino my eyes and smirked, that knowing smirk, and I kept staring into her eyes. She looked away uncomfortably, but looked back.

"What? Why do you stare at me like that all the time?"

"Because I feel like whenever I look at you, you know so much more than I do, no matter what it is. In your smle, in your laugh, in your eyes, you just have something entrancing about you that pulls me in and never lets me go. Why do you always look away when I look at you?"

"Because it's uncomfortable, having someone stare at you like they're positively, completely, fully in love with you, because as far as I knew until a few months ago, love was never supposed to find me."

"Love is always here." I kissed her.
