Jungkook took some time to get his breath back to even, then he stood up, throwing off his shakiness and trying to be fierce. He had someone dear to protect besides his own self, and staying shattered on the floor wouldn't help any of them.
"I closed the windows" Jimin said quietly, his face pale and his eyes still slightly wide as he walked to Jungkook, searching for an explanation in the other's softened eyes.
The growls of the monster-like beings echoed, and it felt like the only thing separating them from their painful fate is thin walls, and it was suffocating. "What's going on?" He asked, louder. "What happened?"
"If only I knew, Jimin. I was driving back home from work when I saw the street unusually empty, and cars were thrown around. I don't know how I reached here but once I did there was an ugly being that tried to attack me" He explained, looking down, before hurrying to the kitchen.
"Where are our neighbors? Didn't anyone help?" Jimin followed like a lost puppy, finding his support on the other's strong arm, hearing a whimper of pain. He then noticed the big scratches on Jungkook's skin, as if made by a monster's extremely long fangs or nails.
"DID THEY DO THIS TO YOU?" He couldn't stop the horror in his voice as he ran to get the first aid kit. He never expected to be put in such situation, it felt like a long, vile nightmare, he had to pinch himself and check in the mirror to make sure this wasn't made of his wild imagination. He directly ran back to treat the wound, as more whimpers of pain escaped Jungkook, his heart broke harder.
"I don't know, it felt like no one was there... Even the night motel was open but no one was there to take care of it, when I entered to buy a bottle of water. It's odd. I think we should try calling someone though"
"Yes, yes you should" The black haired boy got out a phone from his pocket, and Jimin didn't even have the time to notice the new colorful phone case.
"Shit"
The phone turned on, but there was no signal, not even the house's wifi. Nothing was working in it, and his trials of calling the police didn't work. His expression fell as he internally begged the phone to send the call. He almost threw it when a wave of rage devoured him.
Jimin tried to use his, that had freshly downloaded data, but it was useless. The growls and banging around the house and apartment calmed down, and they both let out a sigh of relief. Jimin headed to the kitchen to pull out some knives and grip on them tightly.
"Go get rest, Kookie" he smiled, leaning on the wall facing the entrance door before his face hardened to a glare. "I'll make sure these bitches aren't getting into my property"
