"Lift?" Alex's head was popping out of the window. I walked over to him.

"Is this your car?" I asked in amazement.

"Yeah. Get in." he motioned proudly.

I walked over to the other side and before I could open the door, he clicked it open from inside to let me in. If the exterior was amazing, the interior of the car was mind blowing.

While I was busy gawking at his car, he questioned," How were you planning to go back though?"

I turned to face him, "By walking."

"Streets of London have plenty people who would love to rob you," he smirked. The thought itself chilled my spine.

"Asteria?" I didn't realise I had looked away. I looked in his eyes.

Why is he worried?

"Are you alright?"

"Me?" I pointed at myself.

"You're not. Breathe," his hand reached for my shoulder as the other grabbed a few tissues to wipe the sweat that had built up on my face. My hands were trembling.

I hadn't realised I was breathing heavily. But his soothing words calmed me.

"I'm sorry," he said and I immediately regretted getting nervous like that all of a sudden.

"Did you go to a doctor? Um.. After that..incident?"

"No."

"You had a panic attack just now."

That was a panic attack?

"You must soon visit one. They can get worse too."

"Right.." I said anxiously biting on my lower lip.

"Did that happen before too?" he asked.

"I'm not sure. I didn't know what a panic attack was like."

He heaved a sigh,"Visit a doctor soon." I nodded.

With that said, he let go of his hand on my shoulder.

Aww nooh.

The ride to my place was quite. We didn't speak much after the awkward situation of me getting all worked up. I kept on looking outside the window with my head resting on my hand since it had a calming effect on me.

Also, I never got to sit in a luxury so I wanted to cherish this moment. Alex being there had already made it special.

"We're here," he said and I lifted my head to look infront. The 30 minutes had passed by so quick that it was unbelievable we had actually reached here so soon.

"Thank you.. For today," I fudged my feet out of shyness.

"Don't plan to walk alone at nights. Ever," he looked me right in the eye. His words sounded more of a warning. I nodded comprehensively.

"Go inside," he said as he kept his hands on the steering wheel. I smiled at him, bidding my goodbye without waving a hand. That was my own way of telling things without telling and people somehow understood it.

Right. A smile speaks a million words. And silences a million more.

I kept on looking back occasionally to see if he had already gone, but he hadn't. He continued to watch me until I entered my door and finally closed it. I so wished my room was on a second floor or atleast with a window looking at this side of the road. But, the windows in my place had their own weird spaces which opened in enclosed alleys. The really narrow ones, making the place a little uncomfortable with the ventilation.
