22 - [ I don't want to lose you ]

Lance and Briana's POVs

--- 𝚕𝚘𝚝𝚜 𝚘𝚏 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎, 𝚢𝚊𝚗𝚊 ---

The next morning, I am in front of Bri's apartment, I just went there to check if she's there but I think she already left because she have school today.

I messaged Stella the time and place where we'll talk.

Pumunta na muna ako sa meeting ko dahil malalate na din ako.

after my meeting I received a message from Stella saying that her class are already done and she's on the way at the location I sent to her.

I went inside my car and drove to the location.

I saw stella the way I saw her nung iniwan niya ako, walang pag babago sa itsura niya. Ganoon padin ang kanyang kulay ng buhok pero humaba na ito.

"Hi Lance, nice to see you again" She said nang makaupo ako sa harapan niya

"Let's cut the crap, Stella" I said with my serious tone

"Alright, why do you want to see me?" She asked

"Bakit sa lahat ng pwedeng Universities na papasukan mo eh dun pa sa pinapasukan ng mapapangasawa ko?" I asked her

"Mapapangasawa mo?" She confusedly asked

"The last time I checked ako yung mapapangasawa mo dapat diba?" She asked then I chuckled

"The last time I also checked ikaw yung nang iwan satin diba?" I smirked I saw in her the guilt

"Guilty?" I asked pero hindi padin siya nag sasalita

"Anyway, I'm just here to say na layuan mo si Briana" I said to her at napatingin naman siya sakin

"What? why? wala namang kinalaman si Briana dito, she's my only friend, Lance" She said

"Siya yung papakasalan ko, Stella." I said looking straight at her face, shocked can see at her face and sadness

"I guess I'm really too late" She said

"Look, Lance, I know I've been very selfish last for the last 2 years. I'm sorry that I left you, I know you can provide my need and wants but I just want it to be achieved by myself, not leaning unto you. Nung nakita kita sa news na pupunta ka dito sa London para puntahan ang papakasalan mo, I really thought that it was me pero naisip ko na, oo nga pala iniwan kita because I want to achieve my goals first, I am really truly sorry for what I have done, Lance" She said

"I already forgave you, Stella but I can't forget what you have done, you left me wrecked not until I met Briana. She's the reason why I'm here, she's my life now." I said

"I understand and I'm happy for the both of you but I still can't do what you want me to do, di ko kayang layuan si Briana, She's been very nice to me at masaya ako pag kasama ko siya" Sabi niya

"Alright, pero wag mo kaming sisirain, subukan mo lang, alam mo ang mangyayari sayo." I said

"Of course, I know. So, are we good?" She asked

"Yeah, guess so" I said and we shaked our hands

"Lance? Stella? Mag kakilala kayo?" A familiar voice, I turned around and saw Briana

"Hey, Bri" I said at lumapit sakanya at pinaupo siya sa tabi ko

"Yes, we knew each other" Stella said

Briana's POV

"I'll tell you about it later" Lance whispered at me and I nodded

"So? Ang kaibigan ko pala ang lucky lady" Stella said and winked at me

"See you, love birds" She said and walked out of the Restaurant

Kakalabas ko lang kanina sa University at papunta na sana ako sa bus stop nang makita ko si Lance and Stella dito sa restaurant. They seemed to know each other kaya pumasok ako.

"So? Pano kayo nag kakilala ni Stella?" I asked him

"To be honest, Bri. She was my ex-fiancé." Shocked when I heard the news

"Gaano kayo katagal?" I asked

"2 years" He answered

"Bakit kayo nag hiwalay?" I asked

"She left me for her studies, gusto niya daw unahin muna ang sarili niya dahil kung mag pakasal na kami eh masasakal siya sakin. She thought that I'll control her life, of course I didn't plan that. Gusto ko sana siya makasama lang ng habang buhay, pero wala eh iniwan niya ako." He said at some point I understand his side but I also understand Stella's point

She left to pursue her dreams even if she'll risk her relationship with a billionaire.

"Kaya nung nalaman ko na kaibigan mo pala siya, I contacted her to meet me here, gusto kong alamin kung ano bang plinaplano niya, bakit pa sa lahat ng universities na pwedeng pasukan dito sa London eh yung university pa na kung nasaan ka. In the end, I forgave her but I'll never forget what she did to me. Kaya, ikaw" He paused and looked at me

I saw sadness in his eyes

"Gusto ko munang makapag tapos ka at gawin mo muna ang gusto mo bago mo ko sagutin sa itatanong ko sayo. Hindi kita minamadali pero andito lang ako sa tabi mo lagi" He said then hold my hand tightly, I smiled at him and kissed him on his forehead

"I don't want to lose you, Briana" He said
