Articles of association are the constitution of a company. They provide guidelines for shareholders of a company...
As I listened to my company law lecture go over this weeks' topic, I tried to take down notes as quickly as I could, whilst making sure they would be readable, to make sure I could actually revise from them. My eyes kept on drifting to my phone to check when the class would finish.

As much as I love company law module, it is the only module I got to choose this year as a second year law student, I couldn't wait to be done with this class, it was nearly 2pm.

After the week I have had, I was ready to go out, have some drinks, dance and well... just forget all that I had to do to get where I wanted to. My best friends Olivia, Ronnie and Jada are going out today and just having fun. The weather in London is finally warming up and I can finally wear a dress and nice heels without the fear of a frostbite or a really bad cold, which with the English weather is not too far off. But today is a warm day, at least for England it is, we have 21 degrees so I'm good to dress up. I need a reason why I should dress up and feel like someone who can get a man to stare, for a good reason.
Since this year my university decided to do our exams earlier in March rather than May I'm pretty much done with this year, apart from one more essay which I will finally get in two weeks, I am finished with second year.

When the class finally ends, I try to leave as fast as I can to just head back to the flat to go drop off my stuff before I go to the shop to grab some alcohol and mixers. As I make my way down the stairs I hear someone calling my name
"Elise!" is called out from just beside the exit/entrance door.

When I look over I see that is the guy to whom I may or may not have lost my V card to, hoping he would have been someone looking to have a regular hook up at uni without any strong feeling getting in the way. It did not work out.

"Tom" I say as my face goes between a smile and a grimace "Hi, how's it going?"

Do I really care how he is? Honestly, I don't. I try to be polite because why should I be rude for no reason, but I really don't want to spend the next twenty minutes talking to him about the same things he always talks about. Although my motto is 'be cure to be kind' I'm not about to do it to a guy I'm going to have to see for another year. Just as he's about to start talking about his plans for his team and what not to do, I decide to cut him off, because enough is enough.

" Sorry Tom, I have to be somewhere. It was nice seeing you. Take care!" and I'm on my way to the flat.

With my makeup almost done, I reach for the setting spray and mist my face. After years of trying to make sure my makeup stays on all night long and doesn't end up looking like I've been crying all night, I am happy to say that over the last few months I have finally been able to create something which looks good on me for long period of time. Even if it's pretty much the same makeup every time I go out, my blue grey eyes look great with bronze and golds which is why I stick with them. As I apply some Carmex to my lips there's a knock on my door and Java's head pops in.

"Hey, want me to look over your outfit choices?" She says as she takes a seat on my bed which holds the three dresses I am considering for tonight.

Although, I love all of my best friends and would kill for them, Jada is the one I have known the longes, since we have worked together at Waitrose. She and I have gone through quite a bit together and we both know we can count on each other to call the other out if she's being dumb or if we need someone to listen to us without judgement.

"Yeah, I have these three dresses to pick from. Although I'm favouring the red one more" I say as I look down at my outfits.
