Chapter One

you looked over to your friend and laughed, she joked about something happening between her ex's.
"god i dont know how you end up with all these horrible guys" i manage out between laughing fits.
she slaps my shoulder and nods in agreement "you're kidding right? i dont know how you dont have guys in general!" you shake your head at her and smile as you two continue walking on laughing about things to each other.

you had reached the stores until you got a call, its an unknown number. you pick it up and answer it "hello this is y/n" "miss y/n l/n? hi its doctor maria from the st churchills hospital, there was an accident earlier on with your mother and father. we're going to need you to come in so we can talk" you feel your chest tighten, your friend char looks back in worry and furrows her brow at you asking if you're okay. "i-uh shit yeah okay is everyone okay? i'll be on my way now" there was a pause and you felt yourself pale "we'll talk about it when you come in, please hurry and ask for me once you reach the desk" the phone line ends and you stand there staring at your phone.
char asks whats wrong, you look up tears in your eyes, "mums been in an accident, so has dad we need to go now" char sputters in shock, she takes out her phone and calls an uber as she makes you sit on the road side to calm down. you dont even notice she made you sit all you can think about is what ifs
