Although Wendy was a happy child, tonight she simply could not sleep which made her extremely frustrated. She had rolled over numerous times, attempting to get comfy but nothing would work.
She decided to go star-gazing.
When looking upon the thousands of shiny objects in the beautiful sky she sighed, "I wish I could look at the stars all day." Closing her eyes and picturing it brought a smile to her face. Wendy's birthday was tomorrow, she would be turning 15, she did not want to turn 15. She had just gotten into a fight with her mother about the subject, her mother argued that growing up was just a part of life and that everyone does it, but Wendy knew there had to be some way to stay young forever. She closed her eyes tight and whispered, "If only I could stay young forever, I wouldn't need to worry about anything." Keeping her eyes closed she began to fall into a light dream, the dream only lasted a couple of minutes before she was quickly awoken by the sound of crashes and high pitched giggles.
