Jungkook sat on the chair and stared, only listening to the cries from his friends as they mourned Taehyung and Skye's death. Jungkook couldn't bring himself to cry. He couldn't bring himself to feel anything and he didn't know why.

Chaeah looked at her boyfriend and saw his emotionless face. Chaeah, who was sitting next to a quiet Yoonji, stood up and walked over to her boyfriend. "Hey."

Silence.

Chaeah intertwined her fingers with his, rubbing his hand with her thumb. "Everything okay?"

"Mhm," Jungkook mumbled and Chaeah frowned. "I don't believe you. You've been so...quiet."

Jungkook frowned at her, "I'm fine, Chaeah, you don't need to worry about it."

"But Jungkook—"

"Chaeah. I'm fine."

"But—"

"I SAID I WAS FINE!!!"

Everyone became silent. The crying had stopped. All that was heard was the ticking of the clock. Chaeah let go of his hand and took a step back, not knowing who the man in front of her was because that was not the Jungkook she fell in love with.

Jungkook stood up and tried to grab her arm, but was shoved by an angry Jisoo, "What is your problem?! Why are you yelling at her?!"

Jungkook poked the inside of his cheek with his tongue in annoyance. "I was only defending myself."

"But you didn't have to yell at her," Jisoo stood up. "I am getting so sick of your attitude."

"I agree," Yoonji was the third to get into the argument. "I don't know why she defends you."

Chaeah gulped, "but I—"

"See, there you go again. Tell me, Chaeah, who got us into this in the first place?" Yoonji asked, and Jisoo shrugged in agreement.

"It was him, it was. I'm not saying—"

"But by defending him, you are letting this keep happening," Jackson brought himself into the conversation. "You think he's innocent after seven of us have died? After your best friend died?"

Chaeah felt trapped in a corner.

"It's 1," Jungkook said slowly. "You guys better get moving."

"I'm not going anywhere—"

"You know what? I don't care. Go wherever you want for all I care," Jungkook mumbled. Hoseok glared at him. "You better watch your attitude, Jungkook. We're your family, don't forget that."

Everything was corrupted, and falling apart. And once again, Jordan was stuck watching everything from the sidelines. It was like a slow, painful suicide. His hand stayed against his chest, rubbing the areas in which stung. He knew what it meant, but he didn't let it show.

Not yet.

The others decided to walk to the Show Stage in complete silence. Yoonji was walking faster than the others, her weapon in her hand, waiting for the one toy animatronic to move. Toy Freddy.

"Man, what the hell was up with Jungkook?" Namjoon asked. Chaeah looked down, "I don't know anymore. But I know he isn't like this."

"You didn't deserve that though," Jackson said quietly. Chaeah looked up at him. "You don't deserve this either, none of us deserve any of it. Our friends didn't deserve to die, and we don't deserve to watch it keep happening," she continued.

They shared the same look, before bringing each other into a sudden, tight hug.

Namjoon, Jin, and Yoonji walked over and they formed a group hug. "I miss him..." Jackson sobbed and that made Chaeah cry after. "I miss him too..."
