(Love this picture)
If I'm following any sort of order, it made sense to do this ship next. I've gone over Tododeku and Bakudeku, and now.... Todobaku.
I think that, of the three I just listed, I'm the least sure about this one. As I mentioned before, my love of rival ships makes it hard to ignore. I sort of have a headcanon that Todoroki and Bakugou are constantly having a behind-the-scenes war and Deku's sorta trapped in the middle. (More on that in a different chapter).
To start off with my problems with the ship, I simply don't see the attraction at all. Todoroki would never feel a connection with someone so intense and viciously dominant. It would lead to him having resentment building up on the inside. Meanwhile, Bakugou would have a hard time feeling anything for Todoroki. The quiet, cold intimidation, as Deku describes it, is so different and foreign to Bakugou that it would draw him away. He needs someone open, someone he can easily read. Todoroki's closed, complex emotions would frustrate him.
There's no fluff or affection, and a relationship between them would be a huge competition. I imagine it would go down in flames. (Possibly literally).
Well, I sort of started thinking, 'what makes it different from Drarry or Bakudeku or any other rival ships you really like?'
The difference is that they simply don't understand each other. They don't have the past going for them either, no history.
That doesn't mean we need to toss it out the window, though. I like the fanart and cosplays, and the premise really isn't bad. It's two angry gay anime boys, how bad could it be? I honestly don't dislike it. There's just a reason it's one of the less popular ships.
Rating: 5/10.

Bnha ship opinions because why not
General FictionI'm bored, and have pretty strong opinions about this. Read the first chapter for more of an idea of what this is about because I don't want to make this super long
