Chapter 16 Akumi's Funeral

Author's Note: hi guys!!! This will be just another short chapter (im so sorry). In this chapter's plot, it will just be about Akumi's Funeral, and a little Natsu and Reader-san moment at the end...so, let's go!!

~Third Person's POV~
~Cathedral Cemetery~

It is now Akumi's Funeral, the whole Team Natsu, and others from Fairy Tail Guild joined the Funeral. And now, its time for the important people's messages.

"We found her 8 years ago, she was in a forest, unconscious and very wounded. Of course we helped her and when she woke up, she was always asking us if we had seen a little girl that she said was her sister. Time flew on and she became more like a daughter to me and my wife since we didn't have any kids.

She was a very big help, and a very kind and great person. It is very sad for all of us here to witness a person to be sent to heaven in a young age. But as Akumi always told us, we need to keep moving on. All I can say is, along with my wife, we love her very, very much. That is all" The Man that took care of Akumi-nee said.

Of course, the last message to be said was by me. And it is now my time to say it.

"Akumi Nee-san was a great sister to me, she had always been in my side since we were young. But because of a tragedy, we separated ways. During those long 8 years, I thought she was gone. But because of my friends' help, I met her again. Though, We didn't have much time left to talk to each other.

When we were kids, even if I mess up about something, she always say 'its ok' or 'you can try again'. She never got angry at me, she had been too kind for her own good. Now that she's up in heaven, I know that she'll always be watching over me. All I wanna say to my sister is. Thank you for all that you have done for me, for all the things you thought me, for all the times you helped me, I love you sister, I will always." I finished as I placed a rose in my Sister's grave.

Team Natsu walked up to me and also placed pieces of roses. Lucy and Erza caressed my back and Wendy is holding my hand while Happy and Carla was looking at me, Happy is not currently Happy, he is very sad right now and crying very hard with no sound released. Natsu and Gray just looked at me with sadness in their faces.

Of course I had tears dripping from my eyes too, I looked up to the dark sky and thought to myself.

'Farewell Akumi-nee, thank you for everything'

~TIME SKIP~
~Natsu's POV~

Everyone from the Guild already left including Erza, Lucy, Gray, Wendy, and Carla. Happy already headed home alone, he said I should stay here for a while. The couple who also took care of (Y/N)'s sister already headed home.

(Y/N) is sitting on a bench alone in the covered up place, I walked up to her and sat down beside her. "My sympathies again.." I told her, she just nodded, still looking down.

"I know it seems hard sometimes but remember one thing, through every dark night there's a bright day after that. So no matter how hard it gets, stand up, keep your head up, and handle it." I said, I am mentally patting my head because of the very smart and meaningful words that came out of my mouth, MY MOUTH. (Y/N) looked at me, she nodded again but this time, with a small smile.

"You're right" she said. I cant help but blush at that so I instantly looked away from her. 'Calm down, calm down' I think to myself.

A minute have passed without anyone speaking. "Thanks" (Y/N) broke the silence by saying that. I looked at her, a puzzled look is displayed on my face. She just looked straight ahed and explained what she meant. "Thank you for the thing you said earlier, thank you for the gift, thank you for making me meet my sister one last time" she said.

"You're welcome" I answered, while grinning. "That's what a friend do, make a fellow comrade happy" I continued. She giggled a little and said "I agree".

We talked about other stuffs until we decided to go home. I volunteered to send her home but she said its fine, and she also said that Happy might be waiting for me.

I didn't answer back and just agreed to have our separate ways there. Otherwise, she's gonna go to the guild tomorrow so i'll still see her. Well, that is until the sun was going down and we headed separate ways.
