ANDY
Robert, I am so sorry
Andy rushes into Robert's hospital room

ROBERT
Seriously Andy, what the hell? This is the second time today.

ANDY
I know, I know. I'm sorry, but-
She tries to grab his hand but he crosses his arms

ROBERT
First you slept over with the guys, then you left to see your aunt, and now you want to make excuses? Andy, I-

ANDY
No, you don't understand. My mom . . . she's . . . she's alive.

ROBERT
You haven't been acting like yourself lately, babe. Is this the denial talking or have you been drinking? Please don't tell me that you're high right now.

ANDY
She was right there, I'm telling you . . . you've got to believe me Robert, she's not dead.

ROBERT
That doesn't make any sense, it's. . . it's crazy. . . you sound crazy right now, you know that right?
Andy paces around the room. When she's not facing him, he pushes the call button.

ANDY
Wow. I'd expect to hear that from Maya, maybe Jack, but my husband? Do you really have that little trust in me?
Robert's night nurse walks into the room.

NURSE
You called, Mr. Sullivan, how may I help?

ROBERT
Can you see if Dr. Shepherd is available? I have a few concerns that I'd like to discuss with her.

ANDY
Is your leg bothering you again?
She rushes to the side of the bed and grabs his hand.

ROBERT
Not exactly,
He avoids making eye contact with Andy

ANDY
What do you mean? What other concerns could you possibly have?
Robert lets out a long sigh then finally looks Andy in the eye.

ROBERT
I didn't call Dr. Shepherd here for me. I called her because I'm worried about you.

Andy was shocked. She had never felt so betrayed in her life, not even when her father blocked her from making captain, twice. She was on the verge of crying, but doctor Amelia Shepherd walked in so she held back her tears.

DR. SHEPHERD
I'm supposed to be prepping for surgery but I have a few minutes. What did you say you were worried about?
