Max's POV
It was a long day at work, I was desperate to get home. I moved to Florida after a few years of working in the Netherlands, I worked hard to able to move, and it was far different here than back home. I had to work ALL the time. No matter what. If the world was on fire, I'd still have to work. I worked as a nuclear reactor operator at a nuclear power plant near the coast. It was hard work, making sure the country didn't explode from a nuclear accident, but it was worth it. I wished I at least got a job that didn't keep me on my feet all the time, but, it paid well.
I was driving home, electrified to get there. I still kept to the speed limit, and stayed focused, though. I wanted to get home to my boyfriend, but, I didn't want to veer off the road for not paying attention. I couldn't do that to him. I know him, he would stay at the hospital until I was well, and probably stress out more than he needed to.
Anyways, I finally got to the house. I got out of the car and opened the door of the house, closed it, and was instantly greeted by my boyfriend, who, literally ran up to me, jumped on me and wrapped his whole legs around my waist as if he hadn't seen me in years.
"I missed you too, Chan~!" I laughed, hugging him back, embracing him.
"Yeah?! Well I missed you more!" He said, clearly not going to back down if I decided to argue. I didn't argue, and just let him think he missed me more. I missed him more. :)
